How you’ll spend your day

• Performs daily product reviews and changes by leveraging pricing software and analytical tools in order to find opportunities to increase revenue, profitability
• Closely monitors work queues in order to perform real-time pricing decisions based on volume performance and/or market changes, data accuracy, and performs price/data adjustments as needed
• Communicates and collaborates with Sales, Purchasing, Pricing to ensure data quality and clear service level expectations.
• Monitors work queues and other information with a high level of detail in order to quickly and timely determine product/pricing outcomes with a high level of confidence and accountability
• Support pricing managers in pricing data analysis, operations, optimization, problem resolution

Education/Certification/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field (Business, Economics) or minimum of 2+ years of equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 2+ years experience in a highly transactional, processing setting, preferably pricing oriented
  • Pharmaceutical industry pricing experience with large customer base and product portfolio, or comparable line of business (i.e: commodities, pricing in large retail or B2C/B2B distribution business, claims, mortgage)

• Demonstrated experience in pricing operations
• Expertise in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)
• Expertise in web based applications such as Tableau, SaaS, Salesforce, etc.
• Inquisitive individual, willing to ask questions, probe, find answers in a complex environment
• Ability to learn product and customer dynamics, research relevant product information both internally and externally
• Demonstrates strong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative

Your experience and qualifications

• Troubleshoot product/pricing data issues in real time to ensure proper sales flow and reduce ordering bottlenecks

Education/Certification/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field (Business, Economics) or minimum of 2+ years of equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 2+ years experience in a highly transactional, processing setting, preferably pricing oriented
  • Pharmaceutical industry pricing experience with large customer base and product portfolio, or comparable line of business (i.e: commodities, pricing in large retail or B2C/B2B distribution business, claims, mortgage)

• Demonstrated experience in pricing operations
• Expertise in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)
• Expertise in web based applications such as Tableau, SaaS, Salesforce, etc.
• Inquisitive individual, willing to ask questions, probe, find answers in a complex environment
• Ability to learn product and customer dynamics, research relevant product information both internally and externally
• Demonstrates strong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative
• Ability to manage a high volume of tasks, transactions, time management, adherence to deadlines, accountability are required
• Great problem solving and issue resolution capabilities.
• Fact based, analytical thinker with demonstrated ability to thrive in data-driven, process-oriented environment, while under pressure for fast resolution.
• Ability to use detailed financial and transactional data for fast-paced decision making
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to understand high volumes of complex information and is detail-oriented
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to adapt to operational, software changes, and shifting priorities
• Ability to adhere to late shift (typically noon-9pm M-F) with emphasis on peak transaction times.
• Ability to coordinate with team members for proper processing coverage and transaction spikes

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Occasional:
• Sitting for extended periods of time at work station or mobile equipment.

Visual Acuity:
• Perform activities such as computer work, preparing and analyzing data, and extensive reading.


WORKING ENVIRONMENT
• May be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed on site visits (i.e. safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, etc.).
