As an Amazon Web Services (AWS) Senior Solutions Architect within the Strategic Accounts segment, you are responsible for partnering with our most valuable customers to design cloud architectures utilizing AWS services. In this role, you will help our customers solve business challenges such as rapidly releasing products/services to the market or building an elastic, scalable, cost optimized application. You will engage with product owners to influence product direction and help our customers tap into new markets by utilizing AWS Services. You will also look for patterns and trends that can be broadly applied across an industry segment or a set of customers that can help accelerate innovation. Along the way, you will get the opportunity to enhance your own body of knowledge and have some fun.As a core member of the account team, you will drive usage and adoption across a specific customer. As a trusted customer advocate, you will help organizations understand and implement advanced cloud-based solutions, and how to migrate and scale existing workloads in the cloud. You will have the opportunity to shape and execute a strategy to build knowledge and broad use of AWS. You will also need to be adept at interacting, communicating and partnering with other teams within AWS such as services teams, marketing, and professional services, as well as representing your team to executive management.
Key job responsibilities- Advocate for and Influence the AWS technology strategy internally and externally, at industry events, meet-ups, and summits.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent
- 5+ years experience developing technology solutions and evangelizing end-to-end technology roadmaps that guide IT transformations toward cloud computing
- 5+ years experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences and at C-level, including training, workshops, publications
- 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.

  • Work with multiple internal teams such as Marketing, Products, Service, Operations, Supply Chain, Training, Service, etc. to create, launch, and support new initiatives that drive additional volume of products
  • Travel to partner locations, schedule Gigafactory tours, host product sales trainings, etc.
  • Work cross-functionally to bring new offers, new ideas, and new concepts to market

What You’ll Bring

Partnership Development:

Performance Management:

Education and Experience Required

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.

  • Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in project management, partnership management, business development, strategic collaboration, or a related field.
