We’re seeking to hire various shifts.
- Graduation from high school or possession of a GED
- One (1) year of experience performing work where the essential functions of the job involved employee/public contact, computer usage, and/or heavy telephone traffic
- Learn to operate two-way radio and telephone communications equipment
- Monitor audible information from multiple sources (telephone, radio, and co-workers) in an open space and noisy environment
- Multi-task requiring simultaneous typing (rapid keyboarding), talking on the radio, answering multiple telephone calls, and switching between computer screens and applications
- Document information in English in a clear, organized, concise, and understandable manner;
- Read, interpret, understand, and follow written and oral instructions and/or information in English;
- Use a keyboard and other peripheral computer equipment with rapid keyboarding and a high level of accuracy
- Learn to enter information accurately and quickly in the computer system while receiving information via radio and telephone
- Ability to work in a low lighting environment
- Ability to work weekends and holidays based on schedule and operational needs
- Ability to dispatch Security safety personnel and equipment in a quick and efficient manner
- Learn and adhere to Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) Systems and other related technology
- Learn and remember locations and common place names of highways, major streets, Apple buildings and region area
- Learn and remember the policies and procedures of Global Security and Public Safety partners
- Retain, recall, and evaluate facts and/or details solely from memory
- Work under pressure; exercising good judgment and common sense while making sound decisions in emergency situations
- Read and interpret various mapping devices and relay pertinent information
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, emergency personnel, other agencies, and Apple employees
- Provide effective customer service
- Deal tactfully with the public, law enforcement, and other officials, Apple employees, and cross functional partners, globally
- Transition from periods of mental and physical inactivity to periods of intense and mental and physical activity (rapid keyboarding) at a moment’s notice
- Maintain composure and work accurately under pressure or when faced with stressful situations
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $30.10 and $42.70/hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.

Set up and quality check tools in support of machining parts Understanding of process sheets from setup sheets or any other paperwork (i.e. drawings, specifications, etc.) Cut and prep materials Meet time and schedule standards for assigned work Perform non-CNC tasks when necessary: non-CNC equipment operation, hand-work, operations, inspections, saw-cut operations, etc. Able to do offset, compensations, and conditional switches using basic math, geometry, and trigonometry Maintain material inventory by checking items in and out and notifying when inventory runs low Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations Ability to use various inspection pin and block gages, caliper, micrometers etc. Perform daily maintenance and cleaning on equipment Monitor parts and ensure machines are operating properly

You will design and oversee critical CNC processes and equipment used to produce our products. In this highly visible role, you’ll collaborate closely with Product Design, Industrial Design, Manufacturing Design, and global suppliers.
- 3+ years hands-on CNC machining experience (ability to operate machines)
- Experience with machining, cutting-tool selection and fixture design
- Proficiency with CAD / CAM
- Ability to design manufacturing processes from concept to implementation and provide feedback to designers
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (~25%)
- High Volume Manufacturing experience, particularly with high-cosmetic parts
- Siemens NX CAD/CAM
- CNC Machine Maintenance and repair
- Experience in statistical analysis and process control
- FEA Project experience
- Programming experience in Python, C/C++, JavaScript, or similar languages
- Familiarity with machine learning and deep learning applications in manufacturing
- BS, MS, or PhD in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field
