Your key responsibilities

  • Ideal candidates will have:

Your key responsibilities:

Within FSO Business Consulting and our Business Transformation Delivery practice, you'll work as part of a high-performing team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping financial services organisations solve their complex business opportunities and challenges from strategy to execution. On a typical day, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Be involved in and manage business transformation projects/workstreams across the end-to-end project lifecycle, from business case development to project mobilisation, execution, and close-out.
  • Engage directly with senior client stakeholders, Product Owners, and Solutions Delivery Managers to drive programme / project outcomes, whilst continuously improving governance processes and ways of working.
  • Works on a day-to-day basis to deliver the business transformation objectives / work packages within the overall programme and will manage the schedule within agreed scope/quality and cost dimensions.
  • Work with other managers to explore specific solutions and cross stream deliverables and define the scope of all deliverables.
  • Manage the delivery of complex multi-stream projects/ workstreams in accordance with client Delivery Methodology leveraging EY approaches/methods
  • Lead the delivery of business transformations based on agile methodologies such as Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, or traditional waterfall or hybrid approaches when required.

To qualify for the role, you must have:

  • 8+yrs experience in a management consultant role within financial services.
  • Primary Degree.
  • Experience of delivery of complex projects and strong presentation skills.
  • Highly experienced in financial, stakeholder and people management.
  • Experience of working on projects through the full delivery life cycle (from project concept/initiation to closing).

Ideally, you will also have:

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and uncertainty.
  • Project Management Certification and/or Agile certification desirable (e.g. PRINCE2, Scrum Master).
  • Experience using project and portfolio management tools such as Clarity is preferable.
  • Management Consulting experience is preferable.

Your key responsibilities

  • As a Business Analyst, you will work with our clients to understand business goals and priorities, and to work with functional teams to formulate solutions to meet these goals.
  • You will build valuable relationships with our clients through demonstrating exceptional delivery.
  • You’ll also have the responsibility to help grow and win new business by contributing to proposals and client presentations.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • At least 2 years' experience working within a consulting firm, industry or government organisation within local, European & US markets
  • Experience gathering, defining and documenting business and solution requirements for the enhancement, replacement, or introduction of IT systems
  • A strong academic record including a third level degree
  • Experience in one or more of our focus industries including Power & Utilities, Government & Public Sector, FinancialServices, Life Sciences and Telecommunications & Media
  • Experience operating in a fast paced, multi-vendor environment in a client facing role
  • Experience in business development such as client relationship management and proposal support
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strives to identify new opportunities and to create proposals to help solve our client’s most complex problems

Ideally, you will also have

  • Experience analysing systems and procedures, process design and modelling, and documenting ‘As is’ and ‘To be’ assessments for a Target Operating Model
  • Experience in Waterfall and Agile methodologies, including the creation of User Stories or Use Cases and working closely with a Product Owner
  • Experience conducting workshops and interviews
  • Experience with stakeholder management and working collaboratively with Development and Testing teams to deliver high quality solutions that meet client and user business needs
  • Experience in the delivery of large-scale business/technology programmes and ideally in ERP or CRM implementations (Oracle, MS Dynamics, SAP)
