As a member of our Assurance team you will help our clients meet their reporting requirements by providing an objective and independent examination of their financial statements, timely and constructive discussions with management on accounting and reporting matters, and a robust and clear perspective to audit committees.

Qualifications:

• Candidates must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting, business and/or a professional designation such as ACCA, CA

What you can expect:

• Assist in the execution of audit procedures. Perform various duties such as understanding routine data processes, testing controls, and performing substantive procedures. Analyze evidence, prepare written communications, participate in one-on-one and small group discussions with other engagement team members, and interact with client personnel.
• Clearly and accurately document the execution of specific audit procedures as defined by the engagement objectives, client's engagement history, and planned audit approach.

The position will be responsible for completing day-to-day immigration work assigned. This position will require completing assigned tasks within prescribed timelines and with exceptional quality. The person will need to take accountability for monitoring mailboxes and is expected to share inputs related to process and technology.

Your key responsibilities

• Complete and document assigned work in line with EY quality standards, achieve expected outcomes and take responsibility for correcting any errors or omissions
• Drafting Immigration applications for Guyana
• Participate in any process improvement initiatives
• Work on Application drafting and mailbox management
• Share and communicate ideas to improve work in progress, highlighting issues to Seniors and Managers
• Collaborate with team based on communication and mutual accountability
• Understand and apply the correct methodology, tools and technology
• Updating the appropriate systems to support tracking and billing inquiries.
• Proactively highlighting technology issues to Seniors and Managers and provide solutions where necessary
• Timely reporting of activities as assigned by Seniors and Managers
• Prepare ad hoc reports as directed by Seniors and Managers

In the role of Talent Consultant, you will be responsible for (but not limited to the following)

Strategic talent initiatives and planning

• Deliver talent strategy aligned to EY regional and global priorities

Workforce planning

What we look for

• A strong graduate qualification in Human Resources Management or Business Management or any related field

As a Technology Transformation professional, you will help guide C-Level executive leaders in the strategic direction for technology in their organization. You will be an integral member of engagement teams, where you will lead client interviews, conduct research, financial analysis, and develop executive-level presentations for the c-level executive suite. Through these engagements, you will be exposed to various technology domains including technology strategy, IT operating model design, IT cost optimization, IT assessments, sourcing strategies, benchmarking, IT financial analysis and enterprise architecture. You will support complex initiatives encompassing large scale IT transformations, design, assessments, optimization, and process improvement engagements.

Additionally, opportunities will exist to improve your skillset by learning and applying various industry models and frameworks to provide consulting services to clients.
