Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the technical owner of a product line throughout the product lifecycle—from concept to volume production.
Lead cross-functional design reviews , ensuring alignment between mechanical, electrical, software, and process engineering teams.
Work closely with the supplier engineering and supply chain teams to evaluate and qualify components, ensuring they meet technical, quality, and cost requirements. Analyze component suitability and integration into the overall system architecture.
Drive design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for serviceability (DFS) to optimize cost, quality, and uptime.
Support prototype builds , system integration .
Support continuous improvement and design enhancements in collaboration with R&D and manufacturing divisions
Maintain comprehensive technical documentation , including BOMs, CAD models, and engineering change orders (ECOs).
Stay current with semiconductor industry trends , competitive technologies, and emerging process requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Systems Engineering.
3+ years of experience in product development within the semiconductor equipment or high-tech capital equipment industry.
Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes (e.g., lithography, etch, deposition, metrology).
Knowledge in CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, NX), PLM systems , and FMEA methodologies is an added advantage
Experience with vacuum systems , robotics , thermal management , or precision motion control is highly desirable.
Excellent communication and leadership skills with a proven ability to work cross-functionally in a global environment.

Amazon is looking for a Robotics Deployment Engineer (DE) for the European region. Your role as DE includes the support of the technical execution of Robotics deployment projects. You will travel to a construction site, interact with different on-site teams and remote stakeholders. Analyze and resolve technical issues and execute, supervise and validate the completion of deployment milestones. A day in the life
Your day as Deployment Engineer might start out with a trip to the nearest airport to take you to a construction site. Once you've arrived on site, you will go through a safety induction and meet the team on site. You will then review the activities on site related to the project plan and mile stones. You will review any technical issues the team on site is experiencing and initiate the resolution. In between, you might join meetings to align with local and remote stakeholder teams on technical issue reviews and project alignment. The day finishes with a team dinner.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other technical degree or related experience
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals
- Experience working in a 24/7 production environment
- Experience in Linux systems administration and/or development
- Experience working in at least two of these languages: Python, Java, Perl, PHP, Ruby or Bash/Shell
- Knowledge of configuration management systems, such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible, or related systems
- Experience in site reliability engineering (SRE), systems engineering, systems administration, DevOps, security administration, or network administration
