* Serve as the GRC Specialist for designated (physical and/or logical) components within the cloud capability, to perform assurance and authorization activities to ensure adherence to standards and protocols.
* Collaborate with internal teams and customers to establish baselines and level-set the security requirements, security controls, and security objectives.
* Implement ISM, PSPF, DSPF, ASIO T4, NIST and/or other security compliance frameworks into design and build baselines to achieve the agreed security posture.
* Create, optimise, and support cross-functional working groups and projects aimed at enhancing security efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.
* Utilise domain expertise to develop thought leadership material on cloud and emerging technologies, contributing to the organization’s knowledge base and industry positioning.
* Deliver to tight deadlines and drive results, demonstrating exceptional attention to detail and ensuring accuracy in all aspects of security management.A day in the life
In your day-to-day you will need to exercise sound judgment in making trade-offs between short versus long term security and business goals. You will demonstrate resilience and navigate difficult situations with composure and tact, with a goal to achieve a great outcome for the customer. You will be successful in this role by regularly analysing your own performance with a critical eye. A broad understanding of the AWS business and its interconnections is required. * 7+ years experience working in areas related to security assurance, such as cybersecurity, auditing, security architecture, regulatory affairs or public sector agencies involved in cybersecurity management.
* Experience working with governance, risk and compliance programs that directly involve interaction with regulatory bodies.
* Proficient with government security frameworks, policies and standards (e.g. PSPF, ISM, DSPF. ASD Essential Eight)
* Experience working with cloud technologies.

* Degree or equivalent experience in (Computer Science, Engineering, Cyber Security, IT Security Management, Security Risk Management)a related security field

- 3+ years of experience in cloud architecture and implementation, preferably with AWS
- 3+ years of database (eg. SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Kinesis) experience
- 3+ Experience delivering cloud projects or cloud based solutions
- Able to communicate effectively in English, within technical and business settings.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field

- 3+ years of external or internal customer facing, complex and large scale project management experience
- Proficiency in a wide range of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation)

You will work on installing and troubleshooting the infrastructure that supports the AWS cloud. You will also be responsible to work with logistics and other teams to maintain daily operations. - Escalation point and technical troubleshooter for all Systems and problems.
- Deep diving into Linux server issues.
- Remediation of physical layer outages, both Systems & Network.
- Remediation or recovery of physical power issues on racks and participate in Data Center power & cooling events.
- Shift work (4 days on and 4 days off including night shifts on a rotational basis).
- Install & configure racks of hosts in line with internal SLAs.
- Triage & resolve trouble tickets for all devices in your region.
- Physical replacement of server and network device parts.
- Ensure correct rotation of parts & spares.- Interact with third party vendors & contractors.
- Engage with Remote Hands & Eyes in EU Regional Cloudfront POPs.
- This position also has a physical component requiring the ability to lift & rack equipment using our lifting equipment.
- It may require working in cramped spaces or in elevated locations while adhering to health & safety guidelines.
