  • Build relationships focused on affluent borrowers with realtors, builders, financial professionals, bank store, past customers, and other non-traditional sources; develop and maintain a high degree of visibility for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in the marketplace

  • Obtain customer applications, quote the rate and points, and complete follow-up activities with the registration lock-in

  • Coordinate and schedule customer meetings, seminars, and virtual consultations, ensuring optimal calendar utilization for HMC/PMB

  • Understand real estate appraisals, title reports, and real estate transactions

  • Interact with customers to understand their needs and provide a high-quality loan service

  • Conduct outbound calls and emails to nurture leads, schedule consultations, and promote mortgage solutions tailored to customer needs

  • Serve as the first point of contact for prospective borrowers, delivering a high-touch experience that builds trust and drives conversion

  • Review low complexity financial and credit data, matching customer needs with an appropriate loan program and level of risk

  • Develop knowledge of company products, policies and procedures, and underwriting requirements

  • Receive direction from supervisor and exercise judgment within defined parameters while developing understanding of generating loans

  • Provide information regarding the loans to consultants and functional colleagues

  • This SAFE position has customer contact and job duties which may include the offering/negotiating of terms and/or taking an application for a dwelling secured transaction. As such, this position requires compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations. Ongoing employment is contingent upon meeting all such requirements, including acceptable background investigation results. Individuals in a SAFE position also must meet the Loan Originator requirements under Regulation Z (LO) outlined in the job expectations below

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Mortgage experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • Strong understanding of mortgage sales, origination processes and industry regulations

  • Review low complexity financial and credit data, matching customer needs with an appropriate loan program and level of risk

  • Develop knowledge of company products, policies and procedures, and underwriting requirements

  • Receive direction from supervisor and exercise judgment within defined parameters while developing understanding of generating loans

  • Provide information regarding the loans to consultants and functional colleagues

  • This SAFE position has customer contact and job duties which may include the offering/negotiating of terms and/or taking an application for a dwelling secured transaction. As such, this position requires compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations. Ongoing employment is contingent upon meeting all such requirements, including acceptable background investigation results. Individuals in a SAFE position also must meet the Loan Originator requirements under Regulation Z (LO) outlined in the job expectations below

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Mortgage experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience working with high-net-worth clients

  • Experience in loan originationor loan processing

  • Strong understanding of mortgage sales, origination processes and industry regulations

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Extensive knowledge of lending policy guidelines and procedures

  • Track record of proactive problem solving, taking initiative, and effectiveness in resolving complex escalations timely and decisively to meet customer expectations

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, including managing a pipeline and supporting escalations while maintaining excellent quality

  • Ability to organize, re-prioritize, and manage multiple priorities in-order-to meet deadlines

  • Technical skills: CORE, One Right Answer, Policy Library, Microsoft Office,Horizon, RALI
