The position is responsible for the execution of the HCP strategy, evaluation of market conditions, identification of issues and opportunities within the therapeutic category (CNS/Neurology), development of campaigns/tactics which target Health Care Providers (HCPs) aligned with the overarching brand strategies and objectives. The Associate Director reports to the Marketing Director and works with internal Teva colleagues, sales coworkers and agency partners to develop HCP content and prepare for their implementation and launch.


ESSENTIAL AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • HCP Strategy and Tactics
    • Implement the overall marketing strategy including brand positioning, messaging, and target audience identification.
    • Work closely with all agency partners to lead the creation and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, personal, non-personal, KOL engagement, congresses and other relevant platforms
    • Evolve HCP messaging and campaign elements
    • Identify and pursue opportunities to drive brand growth
    • Diagnose obstacles to brand growth and work collaboratively to provide solutions
    • Assist in the annual brand planning process
    • Manage and coordinate all HCP and KOL programs and efforts
  • Brand Management
    • Analyzes market data and information to make informed decisions
    • Partner with field sales force, sales leadership, and sales training to develop and execute promotional efforts and training initiatives
    • Analyze market data and information to help inform tactical and strategic decision making
    • Lead and participate in sales and marketing planning meetings
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, (Market Access, Sales, Operations, Medical, PARC) to ensure alignment and maximize the impact of marketing initiatives.
    • Manage and optimize the marketing budget to ensure efficient allocation of resources and maximize return on investment.
    • Responsible for the promotional approval process of materials
    • Follow all policies and procedures
    • Evaluate and maximize ROI on marketing projects/programs
    • Ability to manage people and processes without a direct reporting structure
  • Customer Facing Interactions (Internal and External to Teva)
    • Brand liaison to all customer facing teams
    • Works collaboratively with internal and external partners to ensure flawless execution of the brand plan

Your experience and qualifications

Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.

Education/Certification/Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or master’s degree in marketing preferred
• 7-10 years’ experience in marketing and/or sales required
• Experience in managing an Agency of Record or other agencies that support a brand required
• Experience in CNS/Neurology strongly preferred

Compensation Data

The annual starting salary for this position is between $146,160 – 191,835 annually. Factors which may affect starting salary within this range and level of role may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

The Associate Director, HCP & IRA Channel Marketing – AUSTEDO is responsible for leading the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives that drive brand growth across all key stakeholders (HCP, Consumer, Payor and Specialty Pharmacy) and proactive navigation of the evolving market access / government landscape shaped by the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA).

This role will lead the evaluation of HCP channel dynamics and IRA / Government-related market conditions (Medicare Part D redesign, Price negotiations) with a focus on identifying opportunities and mitigating risks associated with the Medicare Drug Price Negotiation Program (MFP). The Associate Director will translate insights into actionable strategies that align with AUSTEDO’s overarching brand objectives and ensure readiness for both pre- and post-MFP implementation phases. This position reports to the Senior Director, Marketing – Movement Disorders Portfolio and plays a critical role in ensuring AUSTEDO remains competitive and compliant in a rapidly evolving healthcare environment.

How you’ll spend your day

· Design and execute targeted HCP marketing campaigns to drive awareness, education, and adoption of AUSTEDO

· Lead cross-functional planning and execution of marketing strategies that address the implications of the IRA, including pricing dynamics, access shifts, and patient, provider and specialty pharmacy education on policy changes.

· Adept at creating alignment with out authority in a fast-paced environment while building team culture that facilitates individual and team success

· Partner closely with Field Sales, Value and Access, Government Affairs, Finance, Forecasting / Analytics, Medical Affairs, and external agencies to ensure cohesive strategy and execution across all touchpoints.

· Continuously assess HCP behavior, channel performance, and IRA policy developments to inform strategic planning and tactical execution.

· Develop and implement the promotional approach, materials, and messaging for the AUSTEDO field sales and Account teams for use across key stakeholders (Patient, HCP, Payor, Specialty Pharmacy)

· Work in close partnership with the Value and Access team to create payer-focused marketing strategies.

· Work collaboratively to engage field and account teams for consistent execution of plans and monitor performance versus objectives

· Track promotional budget and ensure resources are being allocated according to brand strategic priorities.

· Liaise with sales training to ensure field sales training materials and approach reflect overall brand strategy.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education/Certification/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience required, preferably in the psychiatry or long-acting injectable schizophrenia space
  • Experience in the hospital setting or long-term care setting with a detailed understanding of the buy-and-bill model, formulary placement, P&T committees, and in-services required
  • Experience in psychiatric therapeutic areas strongly preferred
  • Specific experience with long-acting injectables and in-office administration for the treatment of schizophrenia in the hospital setting or long-term care setting preferred
  • Experience successfully launching products in the psychiatric space across multiple settings of care
  • Ability to operate within complex settings and networks and provide customer insights effectively

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Ability to interact with customers in live and virtual environments and proficiency with technology
  • Understanding of reimbursement coverage and pull-through strategies as well as experience in all pertinent settings of business (CMHC, specialty pharmacy, private practice)
  • Understanding of the buy-and-bill model
  • Leadership skills and ability to collaborate with multiple sales teams
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills
  • Valid US driver’s license and acceptable driving record required

The position is responsible for the execution of the HCP strategy, evaluation of market conditions, identification of issues and opportunities within the therapeutic category (CNS/Neurology), development of campaigns/tactics which target Health Care Providers (HCPs) aligned with the overarching brand strategies and objectives. The Associate Director reports to the Marketing Director and works with internal Teva colleagues, sales coworkers and agency partners to develop HCP content and prepare for their implementation and launch.


ESSENTIAL AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • HCP Strategy and Tactics
    • Implement the overall marketing strategy including brand positioning, messaging, and target audience identification.
    • Work closely with all agency partners to lead the creation and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, personal, non-personal, KOL engagement, congresses and other relevant platforms
    • Evolve HCP messaging and campaign elements
    • Identify and pursue opportunities to drive brand growth
    • Diagnose obstacles to brand growth and work collaboratively to provide solutions
    • Assist in the annual brand planning process
    • Manage and coordinate all HCP and KOL programs and efforts
  • Brand Management
    • Analyzes market data and information to make informed decisions
    • Partner with field sales force, sales leadership, and sales training to develop and execute promotional efforts and training initiatives
    • Analyze market data and information to help inform tactical and strategic decision making
    • Lead and participate in sales and marketing planning meetings
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, (Market Access, Sales, Operations, Medical, PARC) to ensure alignment and maximize the impact of marketing initiatives.
    • Manage and optimize the marketing budget to ensure efficient allocation of resources and maximize return on investment.
    • Responsible for the promotional approval process of materials
