What to Expect
As the Associate Onboarding & Recertification for the Tesla Approved Collision Center (TACC) network, you will be responsible for successfully onboarding new applicants and validating existing body shops. You have a key role in ensuring consistent job flows, communication, and customer satisfaction as you confirm TACC locations meet our company standards. You will be eligible to work out of one of our US Tesla Collision Centers.
What You’ll Do
  • Responsible for onboarding of new Tesla Approved Collision Centers, including interviews, tooling identification, legal paperwork, account set up, and training
  • Complete annual recertifications ensuring TACC continue to meet all program expectations post onboarding
  • Evaluate and determine areas in need of additional TACC using available data
  • Manage and maintain application portal
  • Work with dedicated Regional Network Managers to execute growth and performance plans
  • Meticulous file storage and documentation of all work
What You’ll Bring
  • 3+ years of collision, auto insurance, or other automotive industry experience
  • Minimum of 6 months administrative experience
  • Attention to detail and multi-tasking expertise
  • General understanding of Body Shop tooling and operations
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel

  • Develop jellyroll insertion and laser weld/marking processes, qualifying them using statistically valid data sets and workflow
  • Team up with internal and external automation houses and equipment suppliers to iterate on and continuously advance state-of-the-art cell manufacturing processes/equipment
  • Generate machine specifications, documentation, and manufacturing instructions
  • Collaborate with Production Engineering, EH&S, Quality, Operations and Design for maximum yield, quality, machine availability and output
  • Optimize product and process flows, improve line and factory level efficiency while reducing Capex and lead-time for iterative manufacturing equipment
What You’ll Bring
  • Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering or 5+ years relevant experience
  • Process/Equipment Engineering experience in a high-volume, high-precision manufacturing environment. Experience in battery manufacturing is preferred
  • Experience with SolidWorks or other 3D CAD software, creating/validating layouts, tooling drawings, pneumatic and electrical schematics. Experience with PLC programming is a plus
  • Experience working with advanced precision automation, material handling systems, multi-kilowatt lasers, cell materials and vision systems
  • Experience with design and development of high throughput, automated alignment machinery
  • Strong background in GD&T and mechanical design analysis
  • Strong hands-on experience in a pilot manufacturing and lab scale environment
  • Proven track record of utilizing statistically significant, data driven workflows to solve complex problems

  • Align cross-functionally with independent contributors and senior leadership interacting with respective applications
  • Oversee feature prioritization and engineering resource allocation through sprint cycles considering long-term roadmap and short-term objectives
What You’ll Bring
  • Degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Information Systems Management), evidence of exceptional ability, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience with evidence of successful software product implementation throughout the software development lifecycle (e.g. software product manager)
  • Experience working across and successfully influencing multiple internal stakeholders (IT development, supply chain, finance, legal, etc.)
  • Experience tracking operational metrics and dashboards using SQL and visualization tools preferred
