What You’ll Do

As a CSM within the SAP Academy for Customer Success, you will be responsible to:

  • Successfully complete a 10-month learn-apply program, which includes classroom phases and field phases with your CSM team, that enhances your support in the CSM role, a critical customer-facing function within our dynamic Customer Success board area.
  • Immerse yourself in multi-dimensional, experiential learning with a focus on digital transformation, global intelligence, human skills, business and technology acumen, solution/industry knowledge, and strategy/tools/process.
  • Enhance skills around your solution portfolio, managing customer retention, and driving value realization.
  • Receive onboarding in your local market with on-the-job training and mentoring by a senior CSM professional in the field. You will have the opportunity to work both behind the scenes and directly with customers.

What You Bring

  • 2–3 years of experience supporting customers and driving business transformation, ideally in consulting or account management.
  • Proven ability to deliver strategic guidance and solutions that drive customer success and long-term value, coupled with experience in resolving issues and managing escalations to ensure satisfaction and business continuity.
  • A cooperative and productive approach to working relationships, internally and externally.
  • A strong ability to quickly learn new concepts, adapt to changing environments, and apply knowledge to deliver results.
  • An understanding of AI fundamentals, uses, and ethics, to identify business problems solvable with AI.
  • A resilient mindset, embracing challenges with optimism and consistently striving for growth and success.

We are planning a practical and immersive portion of our program, which will likely involve participants spending four (4) weeks, spread across two trips, in San Ramon, California. This experience is designed to provide unparalleled hands-on learning and networking opportunities. *Please note the in-person component is still in the planning phase, and the final decision will be confirmed by the first quarter of 2026. We will ensure that this information is communicated promptly, and that sufficient time is provided for necessary preparations.

During intensive phases of the program, it is critical that all participants are fully engaged and present to ensure maximum learning and success. As such, vacation will not be approved during some critical times of the program.

    • Ensure the cleanliness and functionality of all site areas, including offices, production areas, common spaces, and grounds.
  2. Team Leadership:
    • Lead and manage the facilities team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
    • Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality standards.
  3. Budget Management:
    • Prepare and manage the facilities budget, including forecasting and monitoring expenditures.
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement efficiency improvements without compromising service quality.
  4. Vendor Coordination:
    • Manage external service providers, including cleaning, security, landscaping, and maintenance contractors.
    • Ensure vendors meet agreed-upon service levels and compliance standards.
  5. Health and Safety:
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.
    • Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
    • Coordinate emergency response plans and conduct regular drills.
  6. Project Management:
    • Plan and oversee facility-related projects, including renovations, refurbishments, and new installations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management or a related role.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management abilities.
  • Proficiency in using facilities management software, MS Suite software.
  • Working knowledge of BMS systems.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and written skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Facilities Management a plus (e.g., IFMA, BIFM).
  • Experience in managing facilities within the Software/High-tech sector.
  • Knowledge of sustainability practices and energy management.

As an SAP Facilities Manager for the Nordic and Baltic countries, you will:

  • Actively participate in the real estate lease negotiations with the local leadership and SAP real estate negotiation partners

  • Collect required data and participate in the business case creation and approval process

  • Ensure correct data in the lease contract database

  • Represent facility operations at management level in the Nordics and Baltics, informing local directors on facility-related projects and ensuring business requirements are met.

  • Lead, develop and support the local facilities teams in the countries and oversee outsourced building service contracts.

  • Lead and support facilities fit out projects in the regions

  • Manage all building service contracts effectively, ensuring facilities service levels are in line with GRF expectations and reporting on their effectiveness.

  • Maintain local facilities service levels, fulfilling company’s Health and Safety obligations

  • Collaborate with diverse global and local teams to implement sustainable practices and drive approved schemes.

  • Negotiate facility service contracts with Global Purchasing colleagues and monitor, audit, report on the performance of existing contracts, aligning to Group purchasing policy.

  • Work with Global Physical Security colleagues to maintain security standards.

  • Lead the development of capital (CAPEX) and operating (OPEX) budgets, report on these budgets and drive improvements.

  • Participate in the local crisis management teams


What you bring:

As an applicant, you should possess:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience of managing building services.

  • Comprehensive understanding of Facilities budgeting, procedures, and reporting.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to meet deadlines and embrace new challenges.
