Role and Responsibilities

• Lead development of clear Vision, Strategies and Plans to build the brand Awareness, Preference and Differentiated Equity of assigned business.

• Understand and influence Product Business Group to have clear Product Portfolio, Pricing Strategies and building blocks including annual business initiative calendar to deliver to business goal.

• Develop strategic marketing leadership on Brand Communication, Local Initiative Launch Communication and ensuring excellence in execution.

• Lead functional team to develop & execute holistic initiatives via IMC development & execution. Develop the local adaptation or creation (as needed) of ATL development & BTL for the initiatives based on in-depth understanding of local consumers.

• Manage effective communication with Business Heads, HQ and RHQ to ensure issues are quickly resolved, and Best Practices are shared on time. Develop gap closure plans together with Product Marketing to deliver business goal

• Develop, train and coach team in strategic marketing, branding building framework as well as important soft skills (i.e. general business management, leadership and collaboration)

• Manage Agency Relationship and development of annual ‘scope of work’. Conduct bi-annual agency reviews and action plans to get the best out of agency partners.

Skills and Qualifications

• Possess a Degree preferably in Business, Marketing or the equivalent with at least 8 years of relevant marketing experience and 4-5 years in a managerial role.

• Candidates should have experience in strategic marketing and managing people.

• Strong knowledge and experience with Brand Building.

• Strong Marketing Planning, decision making and Execution capability in a fast paced electronics or FMCG industry.

• Leadership, Collaborative, Creative, resourceful & strategic minded.

• Independent, self-motivated with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Good analytical and high adaptability skills.

• Able to travel on short notice.

1. Contribute to expanding the product's market coverage by setting up a product line-up operation plan.
2. Contribute to maximizing sales and minimizing loss by managing product lifecycle and developing pricing strategy to meet the target sales for the product.


Channel Operations

  • Sales & Merchandising Data Analysis (PSI, Growth, Market share, Visibility etc.)
  • Monthly Commercial program guidelines to channel
  • Merchandising/ Communication guidelines for both Online platforms& Offline resources at Retailers
  • Review & Conquer Monthly Sales JBP Plan by Account/ Channel based on common guidelines with customized programs to generate differentiation, deliver sell-out target & gain shares, manage the SD budgets.
  • Marketing/Sales program coordination with Sales team & other multi-functional teams
  • Engagement with Sales team & Retailers in Weekly/ Monthly/ Quarterly Business meetings

Category Commercial Planning (from Channel side)

  • Work with Product team & Sales team to build a strong & thorough Sales plan for new product launch: distribution, sell-out,merchandising/communication
  • Provide sales guidelines based on company’s strategies & objectives in terms of Channel-wise and also product portfolio.
  • Guide & Deploy regional/seasonal sales campaigns/programs
  • Proactively & closely interact & influence Sales team to make sure of excellent Sales execution in order to deliver Sales target and KPIs via tracking reports
  • Proactively & closely work with internal multi-functional teams (Product, Marketing, Retail, Supply chain…) to facilitate sales execution in the market

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of working experience with Trade Category Planning/ Sales Planning background
  • Be able to demonstrate strong Data analytical & Critical thinking into Reporting & Problem-solving
  • Strong communication/ interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams, especially Sales team
  • Have Fluent oral & written English command with clear understanding
  • Be able to look into detail as well as see the big picture to prioritize resources
  • Be a team player with pro-active "can-do" attitude and result-oriented mindset during tough situation/ challenges
