As a HR Business Partner Your main responsibilities will be advising managers and employees on HR policies and projects in line with the companies’ regulations. Your expertise within HR will contribute to fostering a dynamic and engaging work environment. You will be handling some administrative and you need to be able to set the right priorities.


Key responsibilities

  • Enhance organizational performance and employee motivation by managing HR policies related to evaluation, promotion, reward, and discipline.
  • Develop proactive solutions to drive change initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
  • Plan and oversee talent management processes, including performance reviews, workforce evaluation, development, and succession planning.
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues to implement systems and processes that meet business needs.
  • Monitor key HR indicators, identify opportunities for improvement, and support action plan development.
  • Advise on complex HR matters, including sick leave, exit procedures, and mediation between employees and managers.
  • Coordinate the ‘Samsung Culture Index’ (employee engagement survey), providing feedback and recommendations to managers.
  • Contribute to HR projects focused on trends and initiatives such as health & well-being.
  • Ensure contribution to an accurate and complete HR administration.

Skills and Qualifications

  • A team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Fluent in Dutch (professional level).
  • Minimum of 5 years’ relevant HR experience.
  • Proven track record in facilitating organizational change and implementing HR policies.
  • Ability to act as a business partner, delivering practical solutions that drive team success.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on, pragmatic approach to execution.
  • Ownership mindset with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Strong organizational awareness and influencing skills.

As an HR/Payroll Specialist, you will take full ownership of the payroll process, maintain accurate employee data, and provide essential administrative support. You will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless and compliant HR and payroll operations. With your eye for detail and strong communication skills, you will contribute to a smooth, professional employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of the monthly payroll process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution.
  • Maintain and update employee records, including contracts and benefit information.
  • Handle payroll-related queries and resolve them promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies (e.g., Gatekeeper Act).
  • Collaborate with external parties such as government institutions (e.g., UWV) and insurance providers.
  • Prepare regular reports regarding payroll, absenteeism, and employee changes.
  • Support HR administrative tasks, including onboarding, contract preparation, and status updates.
  • Work closely with the Shared Service Center (SSC) on daily payroll operations.
  • Drive improvements and automation in payroll and HR processes, including Time & Attendance systems.
  • Manage ad-hoc tasks and operate effectively under pressure and tight deadlines.

• Proven experience in payroll and HR administration.
• Solid understanding of Dutch labor law and social security legislation.
• Familiarity with payroll systems and strong system/process knowledge.
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English.
