  • Experience:12+ years of experience in software development, with at least 4+ years in a software architecture role working on enterprise-scale, mission-critical systems.

This role requires deep hands-on expertise with the Salesforce platform (RLM/CPQ,Clouds, Data Cloud,Einstein/Agentforce),API & event-driven integration (MuleSoft, Kafka), modern front-end patterns, and GenAI/ML enablement, coupled with the ability to mentor engineers, codify best practices, and influence at scale.We are also looking for strong experience in building and architecting AWS services to support scalable and reliable enterprise applications.1) Architecture, Design & Delivery

  • Own end-to-end technical architecture for large, multi-cloud Salesforce initiatives spanning Quote-to-Cash, Revenue Lifecycle Management (RLM), Order Management, Contracts & Assets, Pricing, Approvals, DocGen/eSign, andInternationalization/Multi‑Currency.
  • Translate business capabilities into current/future-state architectures, reference architectures, sequence diagrams, integration contracts, and non-functional requirements (availability, performance, DR, observability, compliance).
  • Drive API-first and event-driven patterns using MuleSoft, Kafka/EventBridge (or equivalent), platform events, Change Data Capture, and well-defined domain boundaries.
  • Champion secure-by-design principles: SSO, OAuth/JWT, data classification & encryption, Shield, key management, and zero-trust patterns.
  • Design and implement scalable AWS services including Lambda, S3, ECS, API Gateway, CloudFormation, and more to support extensible and cloud-native architecture patterns.

2) Q2C, Revenue & eCommerce Domain Expertise

  • Architect scalable, configurable solutions across RLM / CPQ, Order Management, Billing/ERP integrations, Revenue Recognition, and pricing/discounting engines.
  • Ensure seamless data & process orchestration between Salesforce, ERP, billing, finance, and eCommerce platforms (Salesforce B2C/B2B Commerce, headless APIs, composable storefronts).
  • Establish guardrails for customization vs. product capability (RLM/RLM rules, managed packages) and create roadmaps to move customizations to product-first approaches.

3) AI / GenAI & Data

  • Partner with the AI/Architecture councils to embed AI responsibly: leverage Einstein, Agentforce, LLMs (RAG, prompt engineering, safety/guardrails), and Data Cloud for segmentation, personalization, forecasting, and agentic automation.
  • Define ML/GenAI architectural patterns (training, inference, feature stores, observability, bias & drift monitoring) and integration to our Trust Layer, governance, and compliance frameworks.
  • Evaluate model/platform choices (open/closed-source LLMs, Vertex/SageMaker, internal platforms) against cost, latency, scale, privacy, and IP protection.

4) Engineering Excellence, Observability & Governance

  • Codify architectural standards, reference implementations, design patterns, quality gates, and CICD/DevSecOps practices for Salesforce & integration stacks.
  • Ensure observability is first-class: structured logging, distributed tracing, metrics/SLIs/SLOs, automated alerts, and runbooks (reliability engineering mindset).
  • Lead/participate in Enterprise review boards, design Reviews, technical assessments, and risk management; drive tech debt remediation and platform modernization.

5) Leadership, Mentorship & Community

  • Mentor developers and junior architects, raising the bar on engineering rigor, code quality, test automation, and performance.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to product, delivery, and business stakeholders; communicate complex concepts with clarity to both hands-on engineers and executives.
  • Contribute to the architecture community of practice; publish patterns, reusable components, accelerators, and run internal enablement sessions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Educational Background:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent experience in technical leadership.

  • 10+ years (Director, TPM) of enterprise software/technical program or engineering management experience at an enterprise technology company.

  • 5+ years of conducting and leading SaaS product development programs; shown understanding of the SaaS business model and its product development lifecycle.

  • Deep understanding of cyber security and risk management practices.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a history of hands-on, detail orientation.

  • Deep experience with the software development lifecycle; ability to adjust and apply this knowledge in a dynamic environment using agile methodologies.

  • Ability to establish credibility and rapport with senior executives and team members.

  • Outstanding organizational, communication, andrelationship-buildingskills conducive to driving consensus; able to work in a cross-functional, matrix management environment.

  • Experience with Portfolio Management.

  • Ability to master technical subjects and technologies relevant to the program.

  • Strong organizational, project management, analysis, and communication skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Familiarity with compliance and security standards, policies, and risk management

  • Experience in vendor management

  • Public cloud infrastructure knowledge

  • Ability to quickly learn Salesforce application to build tools and reports or strong interest in technology and ability to develop application/tool to automate processes

  • Masters in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field

  • Understanding of Security Development Lifecycle

  • Have or desire to attain a PMP, CISM and/or CISSP certification

  • Technical Vision & Strategy:Define and drive the long-term technical vision and architectural roadmap for major product areas. Ensure architectural designs align with business objectives and enterprise-wide technology standards.

  • Technical Excellence:You will drive technical excellence for our full-stack technologies, focused on customer experience, extensibility, developer productivity, scale and performance.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership:Collaborate with senior leadership, product managers, and Principal Engineers to translate product requirements into robust and scalable technical solutions. Your ability to influence and build consensus across the organization is paramount.

  • Experience:12+ years of experience in software development, with at least 4+ years in a software architecture role working on enterprise-scale, mission-critical systems.

  • Next-Gen Marketplace:As a technical leader you will have a positive impact in multiple areas and influence the broader technology organization while delivering a compelling technical strategy for taking our marketplace into the next generation.

  • Alignment:You will ensure that internal product development is aligned with the strategic direction of the ISV Platform and Technology organization as a whole.

  • Collaboration:Collaborate with Architects across the platform to craft a vision and execution plan to improve, expand and scale the entire application lifecycle experience of our ISV partners.

  • Architecture VAT leader:You will have in-depth expertise in multiple key technologies and will lead others to deliver new and improved solutions for our customers. You are able to both tackle and advise others on complex problems that are ambiguous, sort through the complexity and dependencies, articulate the problem, and come up with elegantsolutions.

  • A related technical degree required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with automated E2E testing frameworks

  • Ownership of the whole software development lifecycle, including:

    • Service ownership

    • Familiarity with CI/CD approaches,

    • Experience supporting and troubleshooting software in production

  • Excellent communication skills and a strong team player

  • Understanding of how to balance speed of delivery with maintainability

  • Proficient in written and spoken English

  • Conversant with Salesforce Platform features and best practices

  • Experienced in developing and maintaining packaged solutions
