Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience.
A good understanding of object-oriented programming and experience in at least one object-oriented programming language, e.g. Java, C++.
At least 5 years of object oriented programming experience
Experience using Git / GitHub
Validated understanding of web technologies, such as JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, XML, JavaScript, JSON, and/or Ajax
Shown understanding of Database technologies such as SQL, PL/SQL and relational database schema design

In this role, you will dig deep to understand customer needs and go to market of our acquired companies and provide an assessment of whether the Success Plan portfolio can meet those needs as is. Very often M&As require us to reexamine our existing Success Plans features with an intent to deliver enhancements that benefit all Salesforce customers, not just to those using the acquired product. To that end, you will frequently challenge your thinking and that of your leadership by providing unbiased points of view on changes to our existing Success Plans features. You will develop the offer point of view for launching Success Plans for our acquisitions, deliver a business case including defining the offer transition from legacy support/success offerings to Success Plans.You will have the opportunity to work on some of the most complex and rewarding Success Plans launches and be relied upon to inform and heavily influence how we deliver value to our Customers.


Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate thought-leadership via the offer strategy & vision for our acquired companies support/success portfolio
  • Quickly become an expert in our acquired companies, products, existing support/success portfolio and GTM so you can build comprehensive proposals for launch of Success Plans for these acquisitions
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across Salesforce GTM, M&A, Corp Dev, finance, product/engineering and CS organizations in developing the Success Plans business case for Salesforce’s acquisitions
  • Conduct customer and stakeholder research, develop offer POV which includes establishing relevance of Success Plans for the acquisition, rationalization of feature set, and willingness to pay
  • Deliver business case with detailed financial modeling (resource costs, investment vs monentization, margins) and customer and feature transition plan for launching Success Plans
  • Create outputs in the form of thorough and concise slide decks to secure secure cross-functional senior leadership alignment on recommendations
Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be customer-obsessed, curious, and empathic, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Self-organized and have the ability to initiate tasks independently and see them through to completion
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience, including a strong background in product management and/or strategy consulting
  • Ability to systematically break down complex problems, document POVs and drive decisions based on data, facts, and logical reasoning
  • Ability to create work product-focused materials and outputs, which will include slide decks, financial models, or other written deliverables
  • Effective communicator across all levels of the organization, including driving discussions with senior executives

Responsibilities

  • Define and run the product roadmap for Truth Profile Growth and Adoption by identifying and scaling use cases across different areas such as Sales and Customer Success.

  • Work with collaborators to help identify new use cases and areas to expand how we use Data Cloud. Prioritize and coordinate the launch plan.

  • Own requirements gathering process - create product specs that clearly identify problems, opportunities, goals, and metrics as well as use cases, and product requirements that help design and engineering teams develop solutions and measure success.

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams and define important metrics, measure, and report on the success of the delivered use cases and launches.

  • Communicate progress to collaborators, functional owners, and internal team members

  • Coordinate releaseannouncements/communications(Slack announcements, documentation, etc.)

  • Represent and be a liaison for Truth Profile for strategic projects and ad hoc requests.

  • Coordinate as required cross-functionally and with other teams to drive engagement.

  • Be the voice of the customer and work with the Data Cloud Product Management team to provide feedback and be an early adopter of newly released features and enhancements.

  • Represent Salesforce on Salesforce for Data Cloud for internal users and customers, working closely with Product Marketing Managers and Sales to enable/educate them on what we do and how we use Data Cloud internally to promote the product.

  • Be a partner to the Product Leadership in Marketing Decision Science in ensuring our growth strategy, roadmap, and deliveries meet the needs of our collaborators and company

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with collaborators, including customers, internal teams, and executive management, to ensure alignment and drive successful outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of professional experience, preferably handling data products from inception through launch and iteration.

  • Experience running large projects where multiple cross teams collaborate, have dependencies on each other with the ability to come in mid-project and lead by taking the ownership immediately.

  • Ability to quickly understand systems and technical concepts and an ability to jump into high-level architecture and related conversations in order to explain to Data engineers and other business partners.

  • Strategic problem solver who can improve both quantitative and qualitative data to inform your roadmap, and you have a curiosity about identifying both quick wins and big bets.

  • Experience providing enablement, product training, and technical expertise, facilitating creation and maintenance of proper product documentation, communicating work to collaborators, and participating in User discovery sessions with prospects and collaborators.

  • Ability to work independently with little or no supervision while maintaining a high level of efficiency, within a distributed remote and global organization.

  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic with shown creative and critical thinking capabilities.

  • Experience working with remote/global teams and governance structures.

  • Consistent track record of delivering successful products, concurrently and at scale.

  • Shown ability leading scrum teams, writing detailed product/ technical requirement documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technology -Proficiency/familiaritywith our tech stack: Salesforce CRM, Salesforce Data Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.

  • General knowledge or previous working experience/exposure to sales, sales operations, and/or B2B marketing.

  • Experience working with/runningcontractors/consultants
