  • Proven experience in a leadership role, engaging and building competent engineering teams.
  • Strong software engineering background with prior hands-on experience in software development.

Your role:

  • Define and implement Marketing category sourcing and suppliers strategies for the allocated spend (€200M+)

  • Manage key marketing sub-categories of media, Comms, PR, influencer, creative, production, content localization & translation, event, Marketing insights, Sponsorship, digital engagement CRM, SEO etc. spend for North America region

  • Work with extended outsourcing 3rd party marketing procurement partner to deliver sourcing projects

  • Ensure alignment with the organization’s marketing and brand objectives while optimizing cost efficiency & cost savings

  • Define and deliver a strong savings funnel approach of Procurement (Price) and Demand (Quantity) initiatives

  • Negotiate contracts for commercials to ensure budget adherence; Partner with legal on contract implementation

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors within marketing category

  • Build strong relationships with suppliers to ensure high-quality deliverables and long-term engagement & partnership.

  • Manage the global key strategic marketing category Suppliers’ Relationships; conduct regular vendor performance reviews based on service quality, cost, and compliance.

  • Contribute to the development of Sourcing Playbooks to guide supplier management

  • degree in business administration, Economics or equivalent

  • You have 5 - 15+ years’ experience in category sourcing for Marketing Services Category

  • You have specific expertise in Media & PR, Creative agencies mgmt. and Digital.

  • You have deep understanding of market offerings and trends with proven functional and thought leadership of the Marketing category

  • You have proven experience Managing spend (€200M+) & key suppliers, with the ability to and lead global or regional projects

  • You are a practitioner in designing new sourcing models, and negotiating complex deals (€20M+)

  • You demonstrate an expert level in contract management and disputes / escalation resolution at CxO level

  • Act as pivoting element between different functions such as Global Category Team, Regional Marketing Manager and Local Commercial Organization: sales team, TSM, PR, MI, digital, consumer care, demand planner, back office, as well as external agencies
