AI Solution Architect

As a key member of the, you play arole in the transformation of IEN. The AI Council operates as a federated network that identifies, prioritizes, and accelerates high-impact AI use cases across Philips Engineering. You will support engineering teams by identifying opportunities, designing solutions, and helping them bring AI-enabled prototypes to life.

  • Select appropriate AI models (open source or commercial) and platforms.

  • Define technical blueprints and reusable components for use across the organization.Balancing “buy and make”;preferablyleveraging existing industry standard tooling over home grown solutions.

Execution & Governance

  • Guide cross-functional teams during development, testing, and deployment phases

  • Ensure compliance with Philips security, privacy, and regulatory standards

Minimum Required Qualifications ​

EducationBachelor's / Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent.

Minimum 5 years of experience with Bachelor's OR Minimum 3 years of experience with Master's in areas such as Software Development, Software Design and Architecture, Testing and Quality Assurance or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • You have 5+ years of experience in software development (C++, C#), combined with 3+ years experience in test and integration from lower level class/unit development, APIs, up to the larger system level.
  • Experience in technical implementation of automation pipelines and practices like continuous integration, trunk-based development, automating the deployment process using test first approaches like developer-driven automated testing and shift left.
  • Good abstraction skills and keep the high-level overview, you are not afraid to dig into the details, analyse, and solve issues when needed.
  • Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing, as well in creating clear architectural overviews and roadmaps. You can bring your point across to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Respected for being hands-on and fully up to speed with modern software test engineering methodologies (TDD, BDD and varieties of ATDD/executable specifications, test doubles)
  • Passionate about coaching and implementing DevOps practices while applying latest software technologies and driving continuous improvement (i.e. via DORA metrics), given your up-to-date knowledge

Your Responsibilities:

Security Strategy & Risk Management

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive IT & OT security strategy aligned with industry standards.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate security risks across the supply chain and operational environments.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA, FDA).

Security Architecture & Operations

  • Design and maintain a secure architecture for IT and OT environments.
  • Deploy firewalls, IDS solutions, and security tools (Nozomi Guardian, Armis, Claroty, Microsoft Defender for IoT).
  • Establish and enforce a security policy framework for supply chain technologies.

Incident Response & Threat Management

  • Strong leadership skills and project management skills
