Expected Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Available for 12 months. Full time will be preferred, min. 3 working days per week.

Preferred Qualification:

This is a 12-month internship.

Your day to day

  • Perform Market Research, audits of industries and analysis of potential new verticals to identify new merchants for the enterprise segment.
  • Qualitative Analysis of leads, assist in engaging with merchants that meet enterprise criteria.
  • Assist in analyzing payment flow of existing merchants and identify integration improvements as well as potential upsells of PayPal products.
  • Facilitate the onboarding of merchants in conjunction with the Enterprise Sales team, helping with the collection of documents from merchants.
  • Support the Iberia team in daily activities, competitor analysis, internal presentations, newsletters etc.

What do you need to bring

  • Strong organizational skills and effective time management.
  • Good team player with a collaborative approach and be able to create quality relationships quickly, whilst also working well independently.
  • Have a good sense of initiative, self-motivation and willingness to learn.
  • Knowledge or payments industry or ecommerce is preferable
  • Currently enrolled at university for a degree in a business / commercial or related subject. Can also be in the process of preparing final dissertation
  • Available for 12 months. Full time will be preferred, min. 3 working days per week.

You will be out expert in our Enterprise payments platform and find matching benefits to Enterprise sized merchants demonstrating your ability to identify and engage new prospects at an Enterprise scope.

Success will see you manage and own a sales pipeline end-to-end using ‘salesforce.com’ to track, report and implement the sale.

Your day-to-day

In your day-to-day role you will:-

  • Identify, engage and manage approximately 30 Enterprise sales opportunities at anyone time

  • Daily engagement with Enterprise business contacts as you build out knowledge of your target merchants’ business and demonstrate significant value from our Enterprise suite of products.

  • Prospecting for new business

  • Complete commercial negotiations both internally and externally to deliver against your revenue performance goals

  • You will be required to build and nurture influential partnerships with key stakeholders in the business. Act as a conduit between finance, risk, customer success, compliance etc

  • Share and learn your successes and failures with your fellow teammates. Whilst everyone has an individual sales target our team has proven we work better as a team and success is multiplied.

What do you need to bring

  • Minimum 5 years enterprise sales experience
  • Proven track record of end-to-end Enterprise sales – leveraging customer stakeholder engagements at all levels
  • Experience in payments is highly desirable
  • Knowledge and experience in prospecting and converting prospect businesses into actual deals
  • Ability to own and manage your pipeline – sale pipeline hygiene is critical
  • You want to thrive in a sales targeted environment that has challenging targets yet carries an uncapped earnings potential

• Sales Training & Workshops: Conduct training sessions, workshops, and live sessions tailored to field sales challenges, with a focus on product knowledge, competitive differentiation, objection handling, and consultative selling.


• Content Development: Collaborate with content and product teams to create, maintain, and update sales collateral, playbooks, and other resources to ensure field teams have the latest, most relevant content.


• Performance Measurement: Establish KPIs and track enablement program effectiveness using leading and lagging indicators. Use data to continuously improve program content and delivery methods.


• Sales Tools Management: Work with tools and platform teams to ensure the salesforce has easy access to the tools they need in the field, troubleshooting issues, and managing user adoption.


• Field Team Support: Act as a primary point of contact for field sales managers and reps, gathering feedback to refine enablement resources and providing tailored support as needed.


• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with product marketing, operations, GTM and other teams to align enablement strategies with business priorities and product launches.


• Relationship Management: Build long-lasting and strong relationships with sales leaders and managers to identify their needs, build trust and establish a feedback loop.

What do you need to bring

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• 5+ years of experience in a regional sales enablement, training, or a related sales operations role, ideally within a fast-paced or high-growth company.


• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sales enablement programs.


• Strong understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and best practices.


• Exceptional communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.


• Strong organizational, planning and project management skills.


• Experience in managing multi-disciplinary relationships.


• Ability to analyze data to measure the effectiveness of enablement initiatives and make data-driven decisions.
