Your Career
We’re looking for an experienced product public relations manager to support our AI-powered security platforms and solutions, and serve as the lead communications advisor to product and product marketing teams. In this role, you’ll be responsible for strategic thinking and execution of communication campaigns, including product launches, industry events, thought leadership programs and proactive media engagements, as well as strategies to support an organization that is constantly innovating and evolving.
Your Impact
Serve as the primary communications advisor to internal stakeholders focused on AI-powered solutions, including product, product marketing, content, social, analyst relations and legal.
Develop and execute external communications plans and narratives that engage multiple audiences and connect them to the company strategy and product vision
Serves as a media relations expert for the AI sector, identifying and building relationships with key journalists, and developing and executing targeted pitches that result in significant, high-quality media placements
Write, edit, review and drive impactful AI-focused content positioning Palo Alto Networks as the leader in cybersecurity. Content includes press releases, bylines, blogs, media pitches, briefing documents and books, messaging, FAQ, coverage reports, internal messages, and blogs.
Manage PR agency in North America and support the execution of our global PR strategy
Ensure messages are consistent across all media and departments of the organization
Establish ongoing metrics; measure everything to ensure success, and pivot early and often
Your Experience
8+ plus years of experience in public relations (in-house or agency), ideally in tech - cybersecurity preferred
Results oriented to develop and execute on integrated PR plans and impart knowledge to stakeholders for various initiatives (product launches, events, reactive, etc.)
Proven ability to think beyond traditional PR tactics and strategies to design/execute integrated communications approaches
Possess strong critical thinking, project management and time management skills, with the ability to be flexible and solutions-oriented as well as lead and manage projects simultaneously on deadline
Ability to craft compelling narratives from technical features
Be savvy at managing up and sideways to move a project forward, pass roadblocks and finish on time--while building relationships with co-workers and senior leadership
This position is office-based (New York or Santa Clara, CA) and will require 4 days in office

Your Career
As a Unit 42 Recovery Specialist, you will play a critical role in assisting our customers with rebuilding, recovering, and restoring their computing and networking environments following security incidents. Working in conjunction with the Unit 42 service delivery team, you will lead and oversee Unit 42's external recovery partners as well as liaise with customer contacts, ranging from technical subject matter experts to executives and members of boards of directors. Your Impact
Perform monthly close activities, including reviewing journal entries and monthly balance sheet account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to US GAAP and company policies
Manage accounting, analysis and reporting for designated areas, including leases and compensation and benefits
Research, resolve, operationalize and document accounting transactions
Prepare periodic and ad hoc financial reporting and presentations, including conducting financial analysis and explaining trends and/or relationships on the financial statements
Support management of global accounting close process
Establish accounting policies, practices, and procedures and monitor accounting operations to ensure compliance

Your Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent military experience
Certified Public Accountant or equivalent preferred
Minimum of 8+ years of related work experience; mix of previous Big 4 and operational experience a plus
Thorough understanding of accounting close and financial reporting processes
Solid foundation in technical accounting relevant to a large technology company
Strong written communication skills for documenting accounting positions and verbal communication skills for communicating with the team as well as the executive level
Experience with lease accounting (ASC 842) and compensation accounting preferred
Great leader and teammate with strong interpersonal skills, willing to at times roll up their sleeves and work cross-functionally to get things done
Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments with minimal supervision
Critical thinker with an analytical mindset and proven track record of assessing end-to-end processes and solving problems/implementing improvements
Solid organizational skills and ability to manage priorities and timelines
