Nvidia’s Formal Verification engineers are highly analytical and detail-oriented, responsible for functioning as a product interface in order to ensure that all Nvidia designs are accurate and reliable. The formal verification engineer is responsible for gathering requirements, understanding the design architecture, designing tests, and developing models to ensure that the entire design meets both Nvidia’s and industry standards. Strong background experience in safety-critical or mission-critical based industries and verification approaches such as formal verification and simulation is essential for this role. The engineer must also have extensive hands-on experience with formal verification and assertion-based verification tools such as SIL-V and OVM/UVM methodologies. The formal verification engineer must have excellent communication skills, being able to work with both internal design and verification teams while also interfacing with the customer base. This role acts as a quality advocate, ensuring that the design and coding guidelines are followed and that all safety and mission-critical work meets customer requirements.
