Provide a wide variety of support functions to Directors within our Experience Design Organization, including but not limited to:

  • Event planning (e.g. offsites, workshops, conferences, internal team events, etc.)

  • Organization and prioritization to be able to handle and process multiple, sometimes competing, requests.

  • Set/create limits for the team and push back when requests are unrealistic.

  • Liaise, influence, and build relationships with local/regional business partners to ensure their business’ allocation, adjacency and spatial needs are met, validating yearly headcount projections and short-term spatial programming/technical requirements

  • Proactively analyze, track, and report space and occupancy trends based on local headcount forecasting, business org changes, and space requirements

  • Partner with the global S&O Planning, Systems and Analytics teams to strategize long-term occupancy and spatial solutions, develop workplace pilots specific to the region to support hybrid workplaces, and inform best practices for real estate decisions

  • Partner closely and develop relationships with cross-functional local teams, including Workplace Moves and Design/Construction to support existing sites

  • Develop move scenarios in collaboration with local Moves teams for existing sites

  • Perform spatial analysis to proactively drive change in seating strategies, maximizing space utilization

  • Be a champion of change management for end users - creating, contributing, and maintaining employee resources to navigate workplace strategies (assigned seating, flex seating, hybrid work, etc).

  • Contribute to presentations for highly visible projects for a wide range of audience (ie: senior leadership), containing but not limited to workplace standards, agile work environments, and campus-wide move migrations

  • Engage with a variety of business groups (including admins and executive leadership) on conceptual space occupancy plans and recommendations to stakeholders, subsequently preparing block plans or stacking diagrams

  • Keep up to date with emerging trends and insights with regards to workplace strategy, design, and best practices

  • Other duties may be assigned

  • Travel up to 25% of the time

Requirements/Qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in Architecture, Interior Architecture, or Space Planning

  • 3+ years of experience in workplace strategy, occupancy, and space planning

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, open, collaborative environment

  • High degree of flexibility and the ability to collaborate, problem solve, and multitask

  • Proficiency in Google Suite, specifically Sheets, including advanced data manipulation and analysis skills, with the capability to effectively interpret and present data insights.

  • Experience with CAFM systems (preferably Serraview/Eptura)

  • Knowledge of ADA requirements and building codes

  • Ability to read and interpret floor plans and construction documents

Preferred Requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, including with senior leadership

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based, deadline-oriented environment

In this role, you'll navigate the evolving landscape of new canvases and assets, ensuring that our creative quality remains top-notch, regardless of changes in workflow or technology. You'll collaborate with creators and artists to develop sets of high quality artwork that expand the range of what our models are capable of producing.

As Design Lead, you'll help define creative excellence for our visual assets. Your strong judgment will help distinguish scalable solutions from unique exceptions, and you'll engage with leaders and key partners to drive creative decisions and shape our product experience. While this is an individual contributor role, people management experience is a plus given the scope of the initiatives you’re expected to influence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Help develop a cohesive artistic direction and high production standard in the creation of our visual assets

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate craft principles into our design systems

  • Evaluate and provide feedback on the input and output of machine learning models to ensure alignment with artwork standards and aesthetic goals

  • Offer expertise in design trends and principles rooted in industry standards and data-driven insight, allowing our guidelines to be fresh and relevant to global teams

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, creative strategists, data scientists, product managers and engineers

  • Working across global teams to define, discuss, update and maintain guidelines across artwork and motion design to ensure our standards remain relevant to members and maximize opportunities for innovation

  • Understanding evolving product and business goals (e.g. new UI, genre, etc) and recommending appropriate visual standards from creative, technical and editorial perspectives

  • Develop the positioning statement for key product launches. What is the value we are offering to the customer? How do we stack up to competitor capabilities? How does this launch tie back to our brand differentiators?

  • Build marketing strategy for launches. Pull together business goals, technical considerations, and expertise of the marketing teams to align on audiences to target, channels to employ, countries to activate, etc.

  • Navigate complex cross-functional environments to ensure alignment and connectivity. Work across teams to align on product or feature naming, information architecture, and brand architecture.

  • Assess upcoming product and feature launches to identify bigger stories or position multiple launches in a clear way for consumers and tie those launches back to the broader Netflix value proposition.

  • Work with product and comms partners to clearly define marketing needs and coordinate various parts of the marketing organization to execute against those needs (e.g. brand design, organic social, paid social, partner marketing, etc).

  • Partner with content design to ensure coherent and consistent language and narrative between in-service and off-service messaging.

  • Communicate effectively with leadership, facilitating complex ideas in compelling and clear ways.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in Marketing or related fields with an emphasis on product marketing or consumer marketing.

  • Preferred B2C and/or entertainment industry product marketing experience.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and communication capabilities with the ability to work across both highly technical and highly creative teams.

  • Strong project management skills.
