In this role, you will:
  • Collaborate with Brand Partnerships in developing holistic commercialisation strategies for our global, pan-regional and local priority titles and the roll out of go-to-market sales materials, guidance and training specific to EMEA.
  • Partner with Finance & Strategy (F&S), Marketing Partnerships, Product and Revenue Yield Analytics (RYA) teams to forecast, price, and package advertising programs tailored to the EMEA region.
  • Work with Legal, Business Affairs, and Content teams to stand up regional commercial sponsorship and integration models.
  • Partner with the EMEA Sales team and Brand Partnerships to help inform account/advertiser opportunity prioritisation and GTM sales strategy
  • Ensure yearly and multi-year sponsorship frameworks align with other regional and global approaches and priorities
  • Collaborate with Ads Research and Consumer Insights to develop measurement and insights capabilities that support monetisation models.
  • Develop, in conjunction with Business Operations and Marketing Partnerships, revenue and program tracking mechanisms to ensure annual objectives for the EMEA region are met or exceeded.
  • Track and evaluate competitive offerings within EMEA to ensure Netflix provides best-in-class advertising solutions.
  • Provide guidance and input on product capabilities as part of regular internal innovation initiatives.

About You
  • Experience: 7+ years of sales/monetisation experience, specific to integrated marketing, and/or sponsorship programming.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Line Producers, Production Managers, accounting staff and the Netflix team to deliver the highest quality original entertainment content.

  • Working within the UK Production Finance team to lead on Series Commissions (both Self Produced and Partner Managed) with the support of a Production Finance Associate.

  • Working closely with Production Management, Business and Legal Affairs, and Post Production teams to ensure shows deliver within budget and on schedule.

  • Work with internal development teams to research, test and develop new technologies that provide the next generation of finance tools and determine how and when to best incorporate them into the production accounting workflow.

  • Hire the most talented production accounting teams with the skillset to provide the highest level of production accounting support on shows that are some of the most ambitious and complex to be ever produced. Accounting teams must be self–motivated, resourceful, dedicated, hard-working, focused and strive for only the highest level of professional ethics, consistent mathematical accuracy and completeness, and embody the Netflix ethos.

  • Liaise with Labor Relations, Content Accounting, Internal Audit, Payroll, Accounts Payable, Treasury, Tax, Finance and IT to ensure production finance policies and procedures are current and effectively implemented on our productions.

  • Prepare, or supervise the compilation of initial production budgets.Manage production incentive workflow and align with the Production Tax team to ensure receipt of tax credits or cash.

  • Work with the production accounts teams to ensure that insurance claim costs are accurate and adequately supported by schedules, invoices and payroll documents.

  • Oversee the cash flow and funding processes.

  • Review production budgets, cost reports, trial balances and petty cash reconciliations prepared by show accountants.

  • Work with show accountants on a day-to-day basis to drive accurate, complete and timely cost reporting, protecting and managing show assets and supporting production.

  • Develop relationships with Film Commissioners, CPA audit firms, Accountants, Producers and Payroll Companies to build resources and networks from which to poll industry information and help ensure all production finance processes are current, reasonable and timely.

  • Facilitate the training and mentoring of junior production accounting staff on Netflix shows with the goal of increasing the pool of loyal “star” accounting candidates for future Netflix productions.

  • Keep abreast of current and changing industry trends, evolving technologies, production incentives and changes in crew capacity and infrastructure support in the main worldwide production centres.

  • Travel to production locations where our shows are filming to audit, review workflows, organisational abilities and effectiveness of accounting staff.

Requirements:

  • Candidates to have significant experience in scripted television production accounting, to lead accountant level.

  • Good understanding of UK production incentives.

  • Solid understanding of payroll process, Union agreements and tax requirements.

  • Expert skill level of Movie Magic Budgeting and PSL or other recognised production accounting systems.

Title Social Managers are responsible for building social media marketing campaigns for our TV series, films & documentaries. Their role is to embed themselves in the fandoms of our titles, figuring out ways to get people even more excited. Their goal is to get people talking, and they do it by knowing what makes fans tick, what ticks them off, and creating content - big and small - that helps take a title from a hit into a cultural mega-hit.

We are seeking a highly driven, self-motivated person who lives & breathes TV and films. You are an excellent communicator, strategist and creative. You are always learning and testing new ideas. You are comfortable scrutinising your own ideas, and you are always the first to ask, “How could this have been better?” This job will require you to juggle many different kinds of short and long-term tasks, including coordinating with different parts of the company, producing and giving notes on AV and static assets, copywriting, defining high-level strategy for titles, and much more, and nimbly move through all these responsibilities with ease. Above all, you have an instinct for good social creative, strong platform and creator knowledge, great ideas, and the passion, energy, and creative ambition to see it all through.

What will I be doing?

From fast-turnaround reactive to high-production big swings, you’ll make social media content that gets people talking for the duration of the campaign.

  • We work with some of the best talent in the business. You’ll be working with PR and Marketing partners to ensure we’re capturing class-leading content with our stars - be it simple things liketo.

  • Whether it’s,,,, or, the sky’s the limit for creative big swings. You’ll be responsible for working with internal and external production teams to bring high-impact content to life.

  • You’ll be thinking about the best place for our campaigns to play out. Sometimes, everything lands perfectly on our own Netflix social channels, but other times, the campaign goals or audience profile means you have to look elsewhere on the internet. You’ll be making that call and identifying the external partners you need to bring things to life and reach the right people.
