Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 7+ years integrated marketing (e.g., digital, relationship, social media, campaign), event management, marketing strategy, business planning, marketing operations, or related work experience
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Proven leadership of marketing programs that deliver measurable B2B pipeline and revenue impact within the advertising industry in China.
  • Deep knowledge of the China digital advertising ecosystem and platforms; solid B2B and/or AdTech background.
  • Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English (written and spoken).
  • Demonstrable expertise leading event/experiential programs.
  • Exceptional communication and executive stakeholder management skills; ability to influence across global, regional, and local teams.
  • Data-driven mindset with demonstrated ability to translate insights into strategy and execution.
  • People leadership experience, including hiring, coaching, and performance management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 4+ years integrated marketing (e.g., digital, relationship, social media, campaign), event management, marketing strategy, business planning, marketing operations, or related experience
    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 9+ years integrated marketing (e.g., digital, relationship, social media, campaign), event management, marketing strategy, business planning, marketing operations, or related experience
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience marketing in high-growth, complex, or highly regulated environments.
  • Public speaking and industry thought leadership with China marketing audiences.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as a thought leader for Microsoft Advertising in China; represent the brand at industry events and with C-level customers and partners.
  • Define the long-range China marketing vision aligned to global priorities; advocate for China requirements across the organization.
  • Own the end-to-end integrated marketing plan for China: audience strategy, narratives, channel mix, and annual/quarterly plans.
  • Bring global strategies and content to the China market in a locally relevant way including localization and translation.
  • Partner with Sales and business planning to target the key opportunities and growth areas with focus and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with product, comms, PR, and field teams to land new narratives, solutions, and hero products in market.
  • Manage the China marketing budget, quarterly planning, and vendor/contract management; drive operational excellence and scalability.

  • Serve as a program subject matter expert and liaison between field and corporate teams.

Transformation &Program Landing

  • Own theAsiachange strategy and plan, including fiscal year planning and in-year initiatives.
  • Develop and execute the landing model for SE&Oinmarket
  • Partner with Asia& Areachangev-teams to scalelast-mileexecution and adoption.
  • MCEM,program strategies and provide feedback for optimization.
  • Partner with field leadership to ensure consistent communication, readiness, and alignment on shared outcomes.
