About the Role:

What You’ll Do:

Over the course of 12 months, you’ll build a strong foundation in networking concepts and hone your pre-sales skills by working across various areas of our Sales Engineering organization. Here’s a glimpse of what you’ll be doing:

  • Program Enhancements: Help deploy best practices that shape our future.
  • Partner Inquiries: Respond to technical questions from our partners and help them succeed.
  • Collaboration: Team up on projects that deepen your product knowledge and expertise.
  • Customer Engagement: Attend and assist with onsite presentations, solution demos, and more.
  • Technical Support: Prepare responses to customer proposals and follow up on their questions.
  • Lab Work: Develop proof-of-concept configurations and see your ideas in action.
  • Training & Workshops: Lead sessions that empower others with your newfound knowledge.
  • Innovate: Continuously learn and build solutions that truly meet customer needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with cloud networking and OS virtualization is a plus.
  • Experience with Python or other scripting languages is a bonus.

Description:

This is a hybrid, office-based position serving territories in the eastern U.S., Durham, NC area preferred

Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a pre-sales SE for a network vendor or value-added reseller
  • 3 years of experience designing, demonstrating and/or implementing Juniper Networks’ solutions
  • Experience designing/building data center, campus, and wide area networks

Required Technical Skills

  • Campus network design (wired, wireless, WAN and security)
  • Datacenter and AI/ML infrastructure network design (EVPN/VXLAN, IP fabrics)
  • Network Security design (ATP, NGFW, UTM, DDoS, IPSec, MACSec, SIEM)
  • Network automation, including Python, Ansible, YANG, JSON, Netconf

Desired Technical Skills

  • Datacenter automation with Juniper’s Apstra Automation Software
  • Network virtualization expertise, including containerization.
  • Juniper Networks technical certifications (JNCIA, JNCIS, JNCIP) or other industry technical certifications from other Network Solution providers

Minimum Salary: $121,088.00

Maximum Salary:$174,064.00

The pay range for this position is expected to be between $121,088.00 and $174,064.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
