Main duties:

• Working with the Project Manager on contract management, carrying out site supervision of contractors’ teams
• Enter the manhole or sewer for inspection when necessary.
• Review Contractor submissions and assess progress claims with QS.
• Manage and work closely with RTOs, STOs, WSHOs and PROs assigned to the project
• Systematically manage and update daily data on all records pertaining to the programme.

Main duties:

• A combination of project management, technical expertise, and problem-solving skills to ensure that electrical systems are installed, modified, and maintained effectively in both existing and new plant environments.
• Review electrical designs and specifications to identify potential issues or improvements.
• Collaborating with design teams and contractors to ensure the installation meets all regulatory requirements, specifications, and standards.
• Supervising the installation of electrical systems and components, including power distribution, lighting, ELV and LV power, Lightning protection, Earthing installations, and control systems.
• Conducting quality inspections and tests (FAT and SAT) to verify that installations are done correctly and meet performance criteria.
• Commissioning new electrical systems and ensuring they are functioning correctly and integrated with other plant systems effectively.
• Collaborating with engineers and other stakeholders to develop modification plans that comply with regulations and standards.
• Overseeing the implementation of modifications, including coordinating with contractors and ensuring work is done according to specifications.
• Documenting all modifications and ensuring that records are updated accurately.
• Provide training to plant operators and maintenance staff on the new electrical systems and how to operate and maintain them safely.

Thefor the RTS Link Project is responsible for the on-site coordination, technical oversight, and integration of rail systems during the construction, testing, and commissioning phases. This role ensures that all systems—including signaling, communications, traction power, platform screen doors, and SCADA—are implemented in accordance with RTS Link design specifications, cross-border regulatory requirements, and operational readiness targets.

1. Systems Installation & Integration

• Oversee the installation of rail systems across RTS Link assets including stations, tunnels, and depot.
• Coordinate interfaces between civil, trackwork, and M&E contractors to ensure seamless systems integration.
• Ensure compliance with RTS Link Authority (RTSLA), APAD, and LTA Singapore standards.

2. Testing & Commissioning

• Support the planning and execution of static and dynamic testing, including cross-border system validation.
• Coordinate with OEMs and specialist contractors to ensure system readiness for trial operations.
• Participate in joint testing activities with Singapore counterparts and facilitate cross-border integration.

3. Site Engineering Support

• Provide technical support to site teams and subcontractors, resolving engineering issues in real-time.
• Review and interpret IFC drawings, interface control documents, and method statements.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.

4. Safety & Quality Assurance

• Enforce safety protocols, particularly in live rail and high-voltage environments.
• Monitor quality of installation and ensure adherence to RAMS, SIL, and cybersecurity requirements.
• Participate in audits, inspections, and safety briefings in coordination with both Malaysian and Singaporean authorities.

5. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate site records including red-line drawings, test logs, NCRs, and interface reports.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports for internal stakeholders and RTSLA.
• Support the preparation of as-built documentation and system handover packages.

Tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Be the point of contact for all BIM-related reporting and inquiries within the designated contract group, Lead any BIM meeting with Contractors to deliver per BIM requirements.
• Report the current submission status to the Team, and proactively resolve engineering challenges using BIM tools.
• Managing contractor's submission per requirement and chair meetings.
