Main duties:
- A combination of project management, technical expertise, and problem-solving skills to ensure that electrical systems are installed, modified, and maintained effectively in both existing and new plant environments.
- Review electrical designs and specifications to identify potential issues or improvements.
- Collaborating with design teams and contractors to ensure the installation meets all regulatory requirements, specifications, and standards.
- Supervising the installation of electrical systems and components, including power distribution, lighting, ELV and LV power, Lightning protection, Earthing installations, and control systems.
- Conducting quality inspections and tests (FAT and SAT) to verify that installations are done correctly and meet performance criteria.
- Commissioning new electrical systems and ensuring they are functioning correctly and integrated with other plant systems effectively.
- Collaborating with engineers and other stakeholders to develop modification plans that comply with regulations and standards.
- Overseeing the implementation of modifications, including coordinating with contractors and ensuring work is done according to specifications.
- Documenting all modifications and ensuring that records are updated accurately.
- Provide training to plant operators and maintenance staff on the new electrical systems and how to operate and maintain them safely.
Onsite employees are expected to attend a Jacobs Workplace on a full-time basis, as required by the nature of their role.
