As an Electronics Engineer Lab Technician Apprentice at IBM in the tech industry, you will be responsible for helping to develop, debug, install, and troubleshoot IBM systems. Your responsibilities may include designing, building, and maintaining custom pieces of hardware and software, or identifying and addressing potential problems with existing systems. You will collaborate with other engineers and technicians to design and implement new technologies with a focus on reliability, performance, and scalability.
Your daily tasks will include identifying and resolving technical issues, hardware and software validation testing, development of custom systems, and gathering and analyzing data. In order to achieve these goals, you will be required to have strong industry knowledge and understanding of current technologies, as well as the ability to debug complex problems such as hardware and software failures. To ensure success, you will need to possess strong problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with team members in a fast-paced environment.
