Ideal Candidate Experience:
Proven experience (typically 10+ years) in product management, with a focus on new product introduction or launch.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
Execute product strategies and roadmaps.
Key Responsibilities:

  • New Product Strategy and Planning:
  • Develop and execute the NPI strategy aligned with the company's overall product roadmap and business goals.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to identify new product opportunities.
  • Define product requirements, features, and specifications based on market needs and customer feedback.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership:
  • Lead cross-functional teams including R&D, engineering, manufacturing, marketing, and sales throughout the NPI process.
  • Drive collaboration and communication to ensure alignment on product development milestones, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and advocate for the new product within the organization.
  • Project Management and Execution:
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for NPI projects.
  • Monitor progress against milestones, identify risks, and proactively address issues to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Coordinate beta testing, pilot programs, and market trials to validate product performance and gather customer feedback.
  • Commercialization and Go-to-Market Strategy:
  • Partner with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies, pricing models, and sales collateral for new products.
  • Drive product launch activities including sales training, customer education, and promotional campaigns.
  • Monitor post-launch performance, collect feedback, and iterate on product features and marketing strategies as needed.
  • Continuous Improvement and Analysis:
  • Conduct post-launch reviews and analysis to evaluate the success of NPI projects against established metrics and KPIs.
  • Identify opportunities for product enhancements, process improvements, and cost optimization.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and competitor activities related to new product introductions.


Minimum of 10 years of experience in product management or related roles
Proven track record in customer discovery, NPD execution, and NPI acceleration
Experience in developing business case financials and creating offering roadmaps

Sr Field Service Technician - HVAC Building Automation Or Fire Technicianhere at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to provide expert technical support and service to our customers in the field of HVAC Building Automation or Fire systems. Your expertise and knowledge will be crucial in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of these systems, and in delivering exceptional customer service. You will report directly to our Field Service Manager and you'll work out of our Richardson, TX location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will have a direct impact on the performance and reliability of HVAC Building Automation or Fire systems, and on the satisfaction of our customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide expert technical support and service for HVAC Building Automation or Fire systems
  • Conduct troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on complex technical issues
  • Perform preventive maintenance and system upgrades as required
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions • Train and mentor junior technicians to develop their skills and knowledge
  • Maintain accurate records of service activities and report on system performance
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements, and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Must have 2+ yrs of HVAC Building Automation experience or Fire Technician experience
  • In-depth knowledge of Fire alarm systems, plans, specifications, and solid understanding of contracting relationships
  • Competent in MS Word, Excel, Project, and Outlook
  • Excellent customer service skills with experience in technical phone or onsite customer support including good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel both locally to customer sites and overnight up to 25% as workload demands
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record ability to pass background check

WE VALUE

  • NICET certification level 1 or higher
  • Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in HVAC building automation and security systems
  • 1+ years related security system and access systems.
  • Technical Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Computer Science or related field or 4 years of experience in a technical role in this industry
  • Building Networks infrastructure knowledge (wiring, CAT, Cables, Fiber optics etc.).
  • Understanding of typical communication topologies is important a plus Knowledge of Fire alarms, smoke control and security systems a plus
