10 + years of M&A experience with significant deal sheet in sourcing, managing, and executing complex M&A/business development transactions.
8 + years of experience supporting a P&L with proven ability to improve financial results.
8 + years of experience in leadership experience, in management of direct reports or larger teams of people, and/or acting as “first chair” on several transactions
5 + years of experience within a corporation, investment bank, Big 4 transaction services and/or management consulting firm with demonstrated results in leading and achieving strategic, inorganic growth for organizations and clients.
5 + years of experience in vertical markets of Renewable Energy, Life Science, Recycling and Aftermarket/Software-Enabled Services.
5+ years of direct experience executing M&A transactions (both acquisitions and divestitures) from start to finish, utilizing strong financial capabilities and project management skills - ten or more completed transactions in a first-chair capacity.
Proven leader able to operate and function on a global basis.
Comfort in managing and influencing a ‘hybrid’ global organization with both direct and matrixed reporting
Very high intelligence, curiosity, initiative, and highly disciplined.
Solid experience analyzing M&A targets, including strategic fit, due diligence, and valuation.
Strong quantitative, financial, and analytical skills – with the ability to build, critique and refine financial models quickly and accurately. Be the expert on the numbers and change “altitude” deftly – i.e., go from details to big picture and back.
Strong judgment, leadership and influencing skills to provide impetus to “get deals done” within realistic time frames and profitable parameters, while at the same time ensuring a fair and well-thought-out presentation to Senior Corporate Leadership.
