Senior Adv Software Engineer for CompressorControls LLC (Houston, TX)RESPONSIBILITIES:
Review detailed technical documentation including the P&ID, PFD, cabinet/enclosure drawings, compressor data sheets, steam turbine datasheets, gas turbine data sheets, one-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, IO list, instrumentation details, valve data sheets, valve calculations, logic and sequencing requirements, logic diagram and any other documents required to properly specify the turbomachinery control solution.
Support site surveys for detailed reviews of existing installations to support equipment retrofits.
After the solution is specified, a detailed technical and commercial proposal is prepared.
Conduct detailed engineering studies.
Provide detailed reviews of commercial Terms and Conditions.

YOU MUST HAVE:
Qualified applicants must have aBachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, or related field, and 5years of engineering experience. Full term of experience must include:compressor controls; understanding of technical documentation P&ID/PFD/Controlnarrative; knowledge of Steam Turbines/Gas turbines; knowledge of centrifugaland axial compressors, logic and sequencing requirements and preparation of thetechnical and commercial proposal. Up to 10% domestic and international travelrequired. Telecommuting is permitted up to two (2) times per week.
