This position will support the Chicago Quality Organization by supporting digital manufacturing and distribution controls. Roles and Responsibilities

  • Foster a Quality culture by driving compliance to global and local policies, procedures and work instructions included in the Chicago Site Quality Plan

  • Support the Chicago Manufacturing Site by implementing and overseeing robust production and process controls

  • Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders to aid continuous improvement (lean) projects

  • Conducts internal audits of the QMS to ensure high level of compliance

  • Supports external audits from regulators by preparing information, assisting during the audit execution and follow up of post audit activities

  • Performs a broad variety of QMS & compliance tasks as result of continual improvement initiatives or as assigned by supervisor

  • Champions the evolution of the quality culture which includes executing and driving quality objectives, metrics, reporting, and operating mechanisms for QMS processes

  • Support the Chicago Quality team by following up on production and process controls related project deliverables

  • Explains information and influences team members to consensus around total quality and continuous improvement.

  • Employs risk based thinking approach across QMS processes.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience) in computer, science or engineering field.

  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in quality assurance or quality engineering in a regulated industry.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

Partner with the VP of Strategic Service Solutions and the USCAN Commercial Finance and FP&A Manager to develop and drive profitable growth for the USCAN Service business. Additionally, support the Service Growth Leaders, USCAN Service CFO and Region Service Finance Teams with new/ongoing non-contract revenue matters Forecasting: improve the revenue forecasting accuracy and effectiveness for USCAN Service with the creation and maintenance of a centralized model, while producing the region, market and product layers to drive variance analysis and daily management Budget Planning and Setting: actively participate in the annual planning and budget setting exercises by providing the analytics around ODS trending, key growth initiatives, O&U funnel health and risk assessments. Establish the annual operating plan for service ODS revenue across USCAN Service with the region, market, and product layers. Quarter Close Activities: track the ‘to-go’ activities for service non-contract revenue lines, compare the leading indicators from the source systems against the ledger and validate the accuracy of the transactions. Record manual journal entries as required. Reporting: Enhance the segment level reporting for the USCAN Service P&L while partnering with FP&A, Global Service and USCAN Finance teams to respond to requests from the SBUs. Daily activities:

  • Participate in ad-hoc growth initiatives
  • Monitor the P&L and B/S accounts (i.e. deferred revenue, unbilled, etc.)
