Customer facing staff responsible for winning business Jobs at this level operate with some autonomy but are covered by well-defined Commercial policies or review of end results. The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (typically annual volume, margin and compliance requirements). Responsible for medium-sized sales territories.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Development & Strategy

    • Develop and execute regional go-to-market strategies for MICT products.

    • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.

    • Collaborate with regional and global teams to align product positioning and messaging.

  • Commercial Enablement

    • Support sales teams with product training, value proposition development, and deal structuring.

    • Lead product launches and promotional campaigns in coordination with marketing.

    • Drive funnel growth and conversion through targeted customer engagement.

  • Customer & KOL Engagement

    • Build strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), radiologists, and nuclear medicine specialists.

    • Organize clinical workshops, demos, and reference site visits.

    • Collect and relay customer feedback to global product teams for continuous improvement.

  • Operational Excellence

    • Monitor product performance, pricing, and profitability across the region.

    • Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.

    • Support service and application teams in post-sales customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, Medical Physics, Radiology, Clinical Imaging or related field; MBA preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience in medical imaging, preferably in CT and Molecular Imaging.

  • Strong understanding of healthcare systems in NEA region.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Fluent in English; Arabic or French is a plus.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop, coordinate, and deliver outcome-based advanced application training to GE HealthCare MRI customers supporting Africa.
  • Provide on-site education on equipment and software usage, parameter optimization, imaging protocol demonstrations, and troubleshooting support.
  • Manage complex customer issues, escalations, and complaints by following established workflows and collaborating with internal partners to identify solutions.
  • Lead regional workshops, webinars, and clinical education events to promote MRI best practices and maximize clinical value.
  • Customize training programs to align with diverse clinical workflows and regional healthcare practices.
  • Establish and maintain trusted relationships with regional Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to support the promotion of GE HealthCare MRI solutions.
  • Support sales activities at all stages by providing clinical expertise during site visits, tender processes, and product positioning discussions.
  • Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to support product demonstrations, clinical evaluations, and strategic customer engagements.
  • Serve as a clinical liaison between customers and internal GE HealthCare teams, providing actionable feedback to influence service improvements and product development.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction, usage trends, and training outcomes to ensure optimal product utilization and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of GE HealthCare MRI systems as well as competitive offerings to support strategic positioning and customer consultations.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory, quality, and safety standards during training and clinical support activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Medical Imaging, Radiology, or a related clinical field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of technical, clinical, or research experience specifically in MRI modality.
  • Proven expertise in MRI equipment, clinical workflows, and advanced imaging applications.
  • Ability to travel extensively within the region and work on-site with customers.

Planning &execution

  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans for transfer including timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with business goal.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including sourcing, engineering, quality, operations, and QARA.
  • Monitor and track project progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues throughout the lifecycle of the program.
  • Lead regular project meetings, reporting status and providing regular updates to stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • Ensure compliance to GEHC QMS and industry standards.
  • Work closely with suppliers to ensure smooth transition, including knowledge transfer, validation and capability/ readiness assessments.
  • Establish and document standard operating procedures, work instructions, and quality control documentation.
  • Oversee procurement, validation and commissioning of manufacturing equipment and facilities required to produce medical devices.
  • Train and develop a high performing manufacturing and quality operations team.
  • Implement Key Performance Indicators to track operational efficiency, compliance and product quality.

Risk Management & Compliance

  • Identify risks associated with transfers and develop mitigation strategies with the program team.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements including GEHC QMS standards and international medical device regulations and quality standards (ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, EU MDR, China NMPA, Japan PMDA) and other industry best practices.
  • Conduct risk assessments (DFMEA, PFMEA) and implement contingency plans to prevent disruptions/ impacts to the program’s deliverables.
  • Work with regulatory and quality teams to maintain documentation and approvals required for compliance.

Cost and Performance Management:

  • Manage project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency while meeting performance goals.
  • Optimize supply chain strategies to reduce costs, improve efficiency and maintain product quality.
  • Track supplier performance post-transfer/implementation, identifying corrective actions if necessary to ensure long-term supplier sustainability.

Required Qualifications:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Management or related field.
  • 10+ years of project management experience in supplier transfer, supply chain or manufacturing, preferably in the medical device industry.
  • Experience managing global program teams and working across different time zones, cultures and regulatory landscapes.
  • Experience in regulated industries such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, aerospace, automotive.
  • Strong knowledge of medical device manufacturing processes, validation and quality systems.

Technical & Soft Skills:

  • Strong project management skills with experience in tools like MS Project and/or Smartsheet.
  • Knowledge of supplier qualifications, validations and risk management.
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across different cultures and time zones.
  • Ability to manage multiple programs in parallel.
  • PMP, Six Sigma, and/or Lean Manufacturing certification is a plus
