  • Provide feedback to supervisors on employee performance and serve as the first point of contact for supervisors.
  • Coordinate resource requirements for the department and organize employees at assigned workstations, adjusting assignments as necessary.
  • Communicate daily priority tasks to the team and lead efforts to achieve production goals while monitoring performance and identifying training needs.
  • Highlight material shortages or discrepancies, ensuring lines are adequately supplied to prevent downtime.
  • Alert other departments about planned and unplanned downtime, and update communication reports to maintain information flow between shifts.
  • Follow quality indicators, promoting compliance with 5S+1 and quality assurance practices, and alerting others if performance falls below targets.
  • Motivate and mentor employees, recognize and address bottlenecks, and identify causes of mass failures to implement necessary adjustments.

  • Is proficient in all Flex technologies and manufacturing techniques.
  • Demonstrates a high level of competency and functional/ process knowledge while leading manufacturing processes.
  • Demonstrates broad knowledge of manufacturing techniques and may improve processes by applying new techniques.
  • Serves as an expert/consultant in manufacturing and has advanced technical skills which may be used to conduct on-the-job training and/or lead/guide other employees.
  • Ability to speak and understand English.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Physical preparation of all shipments.
  • Receive material and store it correctly using implemented procedures.
  • Keep accurate filling of receipt and shipping documentation with correct lot trace ability tags.
  • Keep and maintain tracking of shipping containers.
  • Operate a forklift truck.
  • Follow all EHS policies and procedures.
  • Perform accurate month end inventories and understand part flow in plant and where to stock it.
  • Responsible for loading all production material for the assigned production lines.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • Has awareness of Flex techniques.
  • Ability to speak and understand English.
  • Previous experience working in a warehouse.
  • Proficient in operating forklifts.
  • Familiarity with using scanners and computers.
  • Knowledge of Excel and Outlook.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Works with Quality, Process, Failure Analysis, and other Test Engineers to determine if product data indicates a need for process/ product improvement.
  • Periodically reviews all process specifications to determine if they accurately reflect the process requirements and/ or test techniques and updates the specifications as required.
  • Ensures that tests are compliant with all safety and ISO-9000 standards.
  • Reviews quality yields and develops corrective actions to eliminate yield detractors and improve the process/ product reliability.
  • Performs high-level repair, formats and executes software per unit configuration, and connects hardware (cables) between multiple units.
  • Configures/ flashes firmware on the sub-assembly and connects twisted pair and BNC Ethernet connections between unit(s).
  • Assists engineers and development labs with all new product introductions and developments.

  • Ensure all required process operations are completed on inspected products at Quality stations.
  • Monitor and report quality metrics to meet business needs.
  • Prepare reject reports by identifying necessary follow-up information and notifying involved parties.
  • Assist with the disposition of non-conforming materials and products.
  • Notify appropriate personnel of unusual product defects or process yields falling below acceptable levels.
  • Conduct process audits and assist manufacturing in interpreting quality and workmanship standards.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • Demonstrates advanced functional skills, which may be used to conduct on-the-job training and lead/guide other employees.
  • Demonstrates detailed functional knowledge of audit techniques and has input to process improvements.

  • Office Skills: Computers and tablets. Office software to include, word-processing, speadsheets, and presentation packages.
  • Ability to speak and understand English.
