What a typical day looks like:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers, recruiters, HR and others to attract the best talent.

  • Develop effective candidate generation strategies to market our opportunities, attract talent, and build pipelines that produce excellent candidates.

  • Proactively source passive candidates via targeted talent mapping, database searching, networking, research, and employeereferrals.

  • Engage top talent as their first point of contact with Flex.

  • Create candidate engagement strategies within the manufacturing, medical, automotive, critical power, and high-tech industries.

  • Research and gather external data/trends and provide updates on relevant market insight and talent intelligence.

  • Provide “white glove service” during the recruitment process, prioritizing a high-touch level of communication to enable an outstanding candidate and stakeholder experience.

  • Guide and develop a robust search strategy that exemplifies diversity and inclusion initiatives and affirmative action efforts.

  • Serve as a Flex Ambassador promoting Flex culture and value proposition to candidates.

  • Represent the organization at job fairs and other recruitment venues so that potential candidates have an opportunity to learn about the organization and its recruitment activities.

  • Ensure compliance with external regulations (OFCCP, EEOC) and internalpolicies/procedures.


The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • 5+ years of talent sourcing experience ideally in the high-tech, manufacturing or industrial industries.

  • Superior research and sourcing skills – including use of Boolean, LinkedIn, and alternative search methods.

  • Know how to identify top performers and determine cultural fit.

  • Flexibility to develop pipelines across multiple functions/business units.

  • Capable of managing and prioritizing multiple projects & candidates

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to network across all levels and all disciplines in the industry.

  • Thrive in a fast- paced, frequently changing environment, are results driven and always operate with a sense of urgency.

  • Positive attitude and thrive working in a collaborative team environment.

  • Prior experience with Workday Recruiting or Beamery (CRM) highly preferred.

  • Hires and trains business development account managers.
  • Oversees the daily work flow of bid requests for the department and work with account managers on projects to move into estimating phase.
  • Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive for department staff.
  • Set department goals and report on progress quarterly; defines and tracks KPI’s
  • Meets with Business Development Account Managers to submit quarterly sales forecast to executive management.
  • Identifies and assesses operational challenges in relation to competion trends, innovations and pricing while staying up to date with external and internal developments.
  • Audit and maintains CRM for accuracy
  • Attend trade shows, seminars, and other industry events; actively engage with participants in order to represent company’s business interests and increase brand awareness.
  • Lead biweekly sales meetings with executive management.
  • Support Business Development Account managers with new customer acquisitions.
  • Utilizes customer, contentious and market intelligence to develop sales and account penetration.
  • Play a guidance role in devising strategies to promote Flex Shaping propositions to meet client requirements working alongside Regional VP’s, Solution Architects and Business Development teams.
  • Knows the customer’s organization, products, market position, and goals, sourcing strategy, suppliers, manufacturing locations, opposition and future directions.
  • Owns and drives the overall execution of the account strategy to close business.
  • Pipeline development, management, contract negotiation and approval process.
  • Establishes and develops customer relationships to position Flex for long term growth, contributes to establish effective communication process with Account Managers and execution teams to ensure clearly defined customer expectations and contractual obligations.
  • Research and knows customers’ business strategy, future product plans, and expansion activities.
  • Achievement of team and personal booking targets.
  • Generate new business and act as focal point in presenting, selling and delivering Flex’s solutions which include concept development, design and engineering, industrial design, manufacturing, supply chain/logistics, services hold up and reverse logistics.
  • Aware of strategic fit between customers’ needs and Flex capabilities, in alignment with Flex business growth strategy.


The Experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to make business decisions that align with company objectives.
  • Proven ability to gather and synthesize market data to identify competitive and effective business opportunities.
  • Solid technical understanding of mechanical or electrical product offerings along with familiarity with local market, customers, and competitors.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM Systems
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training plus a minimum of 8 years of related experience with 6+ years of experience in developing business opportunities preferably in the electric utility industry
  • Experience in the Electronic Manufacturing OR Utility Power Sales
  • At least 2 years of experience in a leadership capacity. (will be managing a team of 3-4).
  • Demonstrates mastery of functional knowledge in relation to other functions and a complete understanding of the function and those of related businesses.
