Your key responsibilities

Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Work closely with the Global SL Talent Leader and Directors to contribute at both an operational level to the successful operation of the SL Talent team.
  • Work alongside the Global SL Talent Leader to ensure requirements, issues and actions raised by senior business leaders are prioritized and addressed by the Global SL Talent team or wider Talent eco-system
  • As required, prepare presentations and reports to support effective engagement with business leadership
  • Work alongside the SL Talent leaders to help build out Talent Consulting capability across the team. Attend cross-SL meetings to identify common needs, change initiatives/priorities and areas for improvement. Capture actions and help to drive the right outcomes.
  • Ensure the availability of quality Talent reporting from the SL Talent team to the business (e.g. SL headcount, workforce planning, DAP hiring, D&I etc). Where required, develop and maintain reports, highlight points of interest and make recommendations on how to leverage the data to drive key Talent priorities (working closely with PDRA)
  • As directed by SL Talent Leaders complete research on emerging trends/issues either internal or external and present highlights to leadership
  • Where necessary work to assess Talent related SL/business performance issues. Engage and work with the appropriate Talent function to consider appropriate solutions and (where necessary) raise requests for change investment via the approval channels
  • As directed by SL Talent leaders and Talent Consultants help respond to complex and urgent Talent queries pertaining to key stakeholder groups, conduct analysis and/or leverage experience across Talent ecosystem to provide guidance and address talent matters
  • As required, support delivery of key Talent processes and provide project coordination for the Global Talent team
  • Due to global nature of the role; travel and willingness to work alternative hours will be required

Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities:

  • Awareness of business strategy and performance trends
  • Ability to leverage information and/or internal data to prepare reports or presentations on behalf of the Global SL Talent Leader or leadership team. Ensure data and analytics can be presented effectively to leadership
  • Ensure availability of regular reports working with colleagues across Talent and HRS. Analyze and maintain reporting.
  • Analyze business issues/opportunities as they related to Talent/workforce issues. Assess root causes and propose solutions
  • Partner with Talent teams to ensure the effective operation of the SL Talent team

Supervision Responsibilities:

  • Work with SL Talent leaders to oversee and coordinate various initiatives as directed
  • Where required, work as an SMR for the Service Line and input to the design, development and deployment of Talent solutions
  • Build and maintain relationships and an internal network, including effective partnerships with senior stakeholders, across EY practices/departments that will enable personal effectiveness in the position

In this role, you will become a key part of the employee lifecycle for our French-speaking population. Your key responsibilities

Supporting external contractors and interns:

  • Creating and maintaining records for contractors and unpaid interns in our HR system
  • Making sure contracts, dates, and approvals are always correct and compliant
  • Acting as a bridge between HR, Procurement and business teams to ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding

Onboarding and employee data management:

  • Preparing and validating all mandatory documents before the employee’s first day
  • Entering core employee data into our global HRIS system (SuccessFactors)
  • Submitting the official employment declaration to French authorities (DPAE)
  • Supporting new employees in their enrollment to our company insurance plan and ensuring data accuracy
  • Conducting final checks so that every file is complete, compliant and audit-ready

Managing medical check processes:

Mobility Assistant with French

The Mobility Assistant (MA) will work with the respective Mobility Consultant (MC) to coordinate end-to-end international mobility assignments into and out of the assigned region(s). Working together with the MC following the agreed scope of service you will ensure that assignees and the Business have consistent and exceptional assignment experiences.

Your key responsibilities

Process support:

  • Work with the MC to support in the preparation of phases of in-bound and out-bound assignments (e.g. pre-assignment, on-assignment, extension, end of assignment and post-assignment).
  • Assist with the preparation, amendment and finalization of cost estimates.
  • Preparation of Global Assignments Letters, local contracts where applicable and country specific addendums.
  • Follow up with the assignee and the business to chase outstanding signed documentation such assignment letters and assignment agreement forms.
  • Assist with the relocation and repatriation processes by liaising with the assignee and respective Relocation Management Company, healthcare provider, etc.
  • Assist with onboarding processes including EC (Employee Central) processes.
  • Action pre-, on- and post-assignment events for assignees (e.g. payment of allowances, expense reimbursements, payroll input, social security payments, tracking and auditing of leave, manage tax payments) to help ensure an exceptional assignee experience.
  • Assist with the exit processes including EC (Employee Central) processes.

  • Copy MC into all assignee communications and ensure MC is updated on case management.

  • Forecasting – Prepare, review and manage cash taxes forecast by jurisdictions and report to client monthly or quarterly basis. Consult with EY country teams, where necessary.
  • Tax Payments – Prepare and review estimated and extension tax payments and manage tax payment process. Work with EY country team, where necessary.
  • Tax account reconciliation – Prepare and review balance sheet tax account reconciliation, collect supporting documents and work with clients on reconciling items. Prepare and book rectification journal entries, where needed.
  • Other Tax functions – Prepare and review journal entry package, return to provision entries, etc., and submit them for client’s approval.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in accounting / MBA Finance
  • Three to five years of experience in US and/or Non-US income tax provision, good knowledge and experience in income tax accounting ( ASC 740 and FIN48), including a mixture of Big 4 and industry experience.
  • Strong communication skills, Strong computer skills, including an intermediate knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Awareness of other taxes in the US
  • Ability to read, interpret and apply the tax legislation

Your key responsibilities

Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Work closely with the Global SL Talent Leader and Directors to contribute at both an operational level to the successful operation of the SL Talent team.
  • Work alongside the Global SL Talent Leader to ensure requirements, issues and actions raised by senior business leaders are prioritized and addressed by the Global SL Talent team or wider Talent eco-system
  • As required, prepare presentations and reports to support effective engagement with business leadership
  • Work alongside the SL Talent leaders to help build out Talent Consulting capability across the team. Attend cross-SL meetings to identify common needs, change initiatives/priorities and areas for improvement. Capture actions and help to drive the right outcomes.
  • Ensure the availability of quality Talent reporting from the SL Talent team to the business (e.g. SL headcount, workforce planning, DAP hiring, D&I etc). Where required, develop and maintain reports, highlight points of interest and make recommendations on how to leverage the data to drive key Talent priorities (working closely with PDRA)
  • As directed by SL Talent Leaders complete research on emerging trends/issues either internal or external and present highlights to leadership
  • Where necessary work to assess Talent related SL/business performance issues. Engage and work with the appropriate Talent function to consider appropriate solutions and (where necessary) raise requests for change investment via the approval channels
  • As directed by SL Talent leaders and Talent Consultants help respond to complex and urgent Talent queries pertaining to key stakeholder groups, conduct analysis and/or leverage experience across Talent ecosystem to provide guidance and address talent matters
  • As required, support delivery of key Talent processes and provide project coordination for the Global Talent team
  • Due to global nature of the role; travel and willingness to work alternative hours will be required

Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities:

  • Awareness of business strategy and performance trends
  • Ability to leverage information and/or internal data to prepare reports or presentations on behalf of the Global SL Talent Leader or leadership team. Ensure data and analytics can be presented effectively to leadership
  • Ensure availability of regular reports working with colleagues across Talent and HRS. Analyze and maintain reporting.
  • Analyze business issues/opportunities as they related to Talent/workforce issues. Assess root causes and propose solutions
  • Partner with Talent teams to ensure the effective operation of the SL Talent team

Supervision Responsibilities:

  • Work with SL Talent leaders to oversee and coordinate various initiatives as directed
  • Where required, work as an SMR for the Service Line and input to the design, development and deployment of Talent solutions
  • Build and maintain relationships and an internal network, including effective partnerships with senior stakeholders, across EY practices/departments that will enable personal effectiveness in the position

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Significant relationship management skills – ability to work with and build trust of business leaders
  • Teaming skills - partner effectively across talent ecosystem and wider EY firm
  • Organizational skills - the ability to set priorities, operate within budget and effective time frames
  • Talent services, associated processes and best practices, including employee relations
