Minimum requirements for this role

  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in IT and Cybersecurity roles, with increasing responsibilities over time.
  • Prior work in IT operations, including system monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization, to ensure business continuity.
  • Proven ability to design, configure, and maintain secure and efficient network infrastructures. Experience with network performance monitoring and security protocols (e.g., VPNs, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems).
  • Understanding of how to design scalable IT solutions aligned with business goals and familiarity with integrating cloud-based solutions, on-premises systems, and hybrid environments.
  • Competence in managing various types of servers (e.g., Windows, Linux, AIX, Solaris, HP UX) and virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Experience with patch management, backup solutions, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Ability to manage databases, ensuring data integrity, performance, and security and proficiency with popular database platforms (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Understanding of IT and cyber risk frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001). Capable of conducting risk assessments, identifying vulnerabilities, and proposing mitigation strategies.
  • Experience in banking would be an advantage
  • Undergraduate or master’s degree in information technology disciplines such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity etc. STEM degrees will also be considered.
  • Excellent communication skills in both oral and written English and French.
  • Enthusiast and professionally striving towards technology subjects.
  • Be willing to invest on achieving a high calibre professional certification such as, Microsoft certifications, CISSP, CISM, TOGAF, COBIT or other comparable certifications within an agreed and reasonable timeframe (if not already certified).
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools such as Microsoft projects.
  • Ability to travel depending on client requirements.
  • Level will be commensurate with the extent of experience, expertise and certification.

Minimum requirements for this role

  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in IT and Cybersecurity roles, with increasing responsibilities over time.
  • Prior work in IT operations, including system monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization, to ensure business continuity.
  • Proven ability to design, configure, and maintain secure and efficient network infrastructures. Experience with network performance monitoring and security protocols (e.g., VPNs, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems).
  • Understanding of how to design scalable IT solutions aligned with business goals and familiarity with integrating cloud-based solutions, on-premises systems, and hybrid environments.
  • Competence in managing various types of servers (e.g., Windows, Linux, AIX, Solaris, HP UX) and virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Experience with patch management, backup solutions, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Ability to manage databases, ensuring data integrity, performance, and security and proficiency with popular database platforms (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Understanding of IT and cyber risk frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001). Capable of conducting risk assessments, identifying vulnerabilities, and proposing mitigation strategies.
  • Experience in banking would be an advantage
  • Undergraduate or master’s degree in information technology disciplines such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity etc. STEM degrees will also be considered.
  • Excellent communication skills in both oral and written English and French.
  • Enthusiast and professionally striving towards technology subjects.
  • Be willing to invest on achieving a high calibre professional certification such as, Microsoft certifications, CISSP, CISM, TOGAF, COBIT or other comparable certifications within an agreed and reasonable timeframe (if not already certified).
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools such as Microsoft projects.
  • Ability to travel depending on client requirements.
  • Level will be commensurate with the extent of experience, expertise and certification.
