Assistant Director, Risk Management

The role of the Conflicts sub-function in RMS is to identify and address potential conflicts of interest of new or existing engagements.

This opportunity will enable the professional to help the firm and its client serving professionals in making right decisions with respect to engagement acceptance, in sync with EY internal compliance policies and regulatory framework. This role will assist in evaluating the risks associated with each engagement and suggest ways to mitigate them. The process also identifies certain matters that need to be considered, or complied with, from an independence perspective, as well as other professional ethical standards and legal or regulatory requirements.

Technical Expertise:

  • Develop process understanding around identifying and addressing conflicts of interest at EY and support team in managing service delivery, KPIs and client expectations.
  • Builds up significant domain expertise on conflict checking and other related RMS processes and tools
  • Coordinates the implementation of Global Delivery Services (GDS) support to conflict checking process across multiple customers.

  • Builds and manages existing and future development of Conflict Checking team at GDS.

  • Coordinates training schedules for new and existing members of the GDS conflict checking team.

Client Management

  • Consults with or escalates conflict checks to Area Conflicts Leaders or Sub Area Conflict Coordinators on a timely basis
  • Assist leadership in meeting agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA)
  • Assist in managing the client’s expectation through a robust client management framework
  • Regular Connect with leadership and senior stakeholder and independently lead conversations and maintain strong relationship.
  • Sharing regular reports such as KPIs, other ad hoc reports with leadership and stakeholders.

  • Responsible for performance management and appraisal process for the team

Role Type Visual Design

As the Assistant Director, you will be working closely with Creative Leader. You will bring in a unique blend of creative vision and business acumen to contribute to the team’s creative journey. You will contribute to high-visibility campaigns from conceptualization to execution, work with the business leadership to position the organization as the leading global brand in its space, and leverage technology and creative brainpower to produce exceptionally creative work. You will contribute to the long-term vision and strategy to position our creative work.

Your key responsibilities

  • Bring together global teams from different streams within the BMC Agency to produce work that is aligned with our refreshed branding guidelines and reinforces our purpose
  • Be able to provide consulting to business teams on the best creative approach to adopt for campaigns
  • Build and maintain great relationships with creative talent and business leaders, and be able to market transformational ideas grounded in solid business rationale
  • Be as focused on the details as on the big picture; reasonably analytical and exceptionally creative
  • Be an inspirational creative person, and bring together people with diverse perspectives to work toward a common goal
  • Be aware of the latest trends in the industry, possess thorough knowledge of the relevant tools
  • Be aware of the developments in the business, art, cultural, political and technological spaces; understand the implications of these developments on the brand and change strategies accordingly

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Bachelors’ Degree
  • A visual arts / design related degree will be preferable
  • Led teams and projects to win globally recognized awards at a creative agency
  • Track record of leading high-visibility, cross-channel campaigns for leading global brands, including B2B companies
  • Strong executive presence, exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • 12+ years of overall experience
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a reputed agency

Technologies and Tools

Experience and proficiency in both Mac and PC environments, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office and all relevant digital tools
