Skills and attributes for success

  • Good understanding of IFRS/US/UK GAAP.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA (US) or ACCA (UK)
  • 2-5 years (post qualification) in Assurance including at least 1 years of Financial Accounting and Advisory experience
  • Candidates with prior Big4 experience would be an added advantage

As a member of the Strategy and Transaction`s team, you will participate in engagements related to the most exciting transactions involving private equity investor groups and strategic corporate buyers. You will analyze the financial and operational results of companies targeted for sale by reviewing accounting records and participating in interviews with management. • Participate in business and financial modeling engagements
• Perform industry and company research utilizing online tools and publicly available information
• Assist in preparing analyses of financial information and reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties
• Participate in building different financial models based on historical data of a business and providing forecasts based on the analysis of historical data as well as industry metrics
• Ensuring implementation of processes to improve budget and preparation of the company’s forecasts
• Participate and assist in preparing for meetings with target management teams
• Ensure that client requests are communicated to the senior-in-charge and addressed on a timely

  • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills.
  • Ability and comfort level researching client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices, and new technologies
  • Experience managing an SAP project or workstream and project-based team members.
