Job Summary

The AML Governance, Sr. Analyst, will play a key role in supporting eBay’s robust governance and oversight framework for the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Compliance Program. This position centers on supporting core governance functions such as:

• Exam management: Coordinating regulatory examinations and internal audit requests to ensure alignment with internal policies and external regulations.
• Issue management: Generating reports and providing status updates on both internal and external issues affecting the AML program.
• Policy management: Assisting with periodic refresh cycles for AML and Sanctions policies to maintain ongoing regulatory compliance.
• Training: Supporting the delivery of AML compliance training

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional experience in compliance, AML, risk management, or financial crime prevention, preferably within a regulated financial services or payments environment.

Sr. Manager, AML Compliance

Separately, the AML Compliance teams and verticals have critical Product needs for day-to-day operations. This comes in the form of Run-the-Business (RTB) requests and Scheduled Releases which require Product coordination. This role will work closely with our Product teams to ensure requirements, deadlines, new initiatives, and constraints are communicated to the AML Compliance teams, and liaise between parties to ensure transparency and coordination of work. Qualified candidates will possess the following skills and qualities:

• Ability to manage multiple project initiatives and dates across different AML Domains (KYC, FIU, EDD, Sanctions, etc)
• Prior experience working with Product teams and familiarity with Planning, Business Requirements gathering, and Prioritization

• Prior experience in Financial Crimes programs & oversight
• Ability to assist AML teams with the identification, scoping and building of tool needs to support compliance via Business Requirements

Responsibilities Include:

• Perform the required KYC screening and reviews by detailing and corroborating the information acquired on eBay member as required by the KYC procedures utilizing a variety of independent research sources.
• Perform quality checks on Level 1 reviews
• Collaborate with internal and external partners as advised.
• Awareness of regulatory requirements in AML/KYC and other compliance due diligence functions.
• Ability to work independently with direction from leadership while maintaining quality standards.
• Assist in issue resolution and communication with mentorship from leadership.

What you Will Accomplish:

• Implement International Tax Compliance – Prepare and assist in reviewing key U.S. international tax calculations, including GILTI, Subpart F, foreign tax credits (FTC), FDII, earnings & profits, basis, and BEAT, ensuring accuracy and compliance with U.S. tax regulations.
• Support Global Income Tax Provision under ASC 740 – Assist in quarterly and annual U.S. domestic and foreign tax provision calculations, including effective tax rate computations, and tax account reconciliations between ERP system and OneSource Tax Provision.
• Enhance Tax Process & Technology – Identify process improvements and automation opportunities to improve tax reporting accuracy and efficiency.
• Review Foreign Entity Tax Returns – Review foreign tax returns and returns-to-provision calculations to ensure compliance and accurate reconciliation with the U.S. reporting.
