Role Overview

We’re looking for a top-tier Product Manager (5+ years) to commandeer the User Experience for our Global Shipping Platform - an eCommerce engine within the eBay ecosystem that already processes 100s of millions of packages!

Develop and promote a user experience vision

  • Define an aggressive frontend vision rooted in user journey maps and market insights. Champion accessibility, internationalisation, and clear design to ensure every interaction delights.

Implement Rapid Prototyping & Validation

  • Partner with UX/UI to iterate wireframes, Figma flows, or lightweight HTML proofs. Facilitate design sprints and usability labs, and translate validated concepts into well-scoped stories and acceptance criteria.

Measure, Experiment & Iterate

  • Own success metrics (e.g., conversion lift, adoption, time-to-purchase), instrument events and build real-time dashboards. Run A/B tests with clear hypotheses, analyse results, and refine the product continuously.

Platform-First & Developer Experience

  • Build modular components and implement design-system governance for reuse. Collaborate with Engineering teams on CI/CD, feature flags to ensure rapid, safe rollouts.

  • Collaborating with the Category Lead on developing the category playbook and strategy to achieve GMV targets

  • Building out our seller & event supply and coordinating cross functional teams to deliver success for those sellers & events

  • Lead on category programming with the Programming team to support on the efficient category content strategy

Select and onboard new sellers to eBay Live

  • Support on BD activities - meet sellers, develop pitches, devise inventive approaches to engage and contract with sellers
