Product Specialist (

You will:

• Define and execute on Services Strategy. Excelas Individual Contributor to drive the sales business. Engagement with all internal and external stakeholders. Engage in complex engagement and manage complex customer situations

• Strong sales, pipeline, engagement cadence and Sales hygiene of the highest levels.Engage closely with the various Business Units. Exceedthe business targets on a regular basis with business linearity

• Engages in looking for resources, solutions and partnership in a bid to grow the business. Hasindustry and partner relationships and leverage these to grow the business. Regularspeaker in public conferences and events

• Leads the weekly reviews in the country and at the region level and represents services in all local country leadership meetings.

• Will require some travelling (estimated to be <20%).This is a Quota Carrying Sales Position (Individual Contributor).

Essential Requirements

• 8 -10years of related experience in a relationship selling role with good knowledge of technical products, vendors and families of technologies. Good knowledge of product configurations. Strong oral and written communication skills with customers, support personnel and executives

• Modern workforce solutions based on Microsoft and other similar OEM partners.Good exposure of Cyber Security and Business resilience solutions. Priortechnical experience in delivery or presales is an added advantage.

• The candidate is skilled at working in virtual teams and influencing others to implement specific strategies.Be a self-driven and motivated individual to drive the business.Is a team player, builds relations and has a commitment to quality.

• Possess strong communication, selling, customer relations and negotiating skills as well as good time management and personal organization.

• Must have complete understanding of services delivery life cycle, sales, and financial skills highly desired.·Experience in pursuit, close & successful execution of large, complex wins is a competitive advantage

Desirable Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Business plus a minimum of 10 years of project management or pre-sales experience; or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.Prior experience is critical with strong services business management background

• Strong experience and expertise in selling infrastructure solutions and services centered on Microsoft, VMware, RedHat, Nutanix solutions, MultiCloud solutions like Private/Hybrid/Multi Cloud, Data Center consolidation, Gen AI and AI Infrastructure, Disaster Recovery and Data management

What you’ll achieve

As a client engineer you will be responsible for managing the client IT infrastructure and environment, you will be involved in troubleshooting complex problems, working on priority incident resolutions and maintaining the client’s IT infrastructure. You will work with multiple resolver groups within the Managed Services teams to ensure incidents are root caused and resolved.

You will:

• Troubleshoot highly complex, intricate technical problems to ensure optimal service levels
• Design, deploy, and manage VMware Horizon VDI and vApp solutions in on-premises environment.
• Work on multiple incidents and projects and be the point of escalations.
• Consider potential security risks to the customer when delivering service, support vendor escalations through direct vendor contact
• Communicate with cross-functional and inter-department teams including managerial audiences
• Perform root cause analysis and contribute to the internal knowledge bases and departmental documentation.

Essential Requirements

• Undergraduate degree with 10 years of related professional experience, experience using Service Now to manage incidents, problems, and requests
• Exposure to working for large complex organizations on the following skillset:
  • VMWare Horizon
  • Intune & SCCM for applications and patching
  • M365 Administration
  • Microsoft Security Center, Defender
  • Develop and maintain custom automation scripts and tools to streamline VDI provisioning, monitoring, and maintenance processes (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
• Strong knowledge of vSphere , ESXi , vCenter , and App Volumes .
• Strong organization and planning skills to contribute to the successful delivery of program objectives.
• Assist with capacity planning, patch management, and proactive monitoring.
• Experience with troubleshooting of end user devices / user issues, ability to document processes and lifecycle management of knowledge base documents, ability to set task priority and dynamically adjust as the customer requires

• Willingness to participate in a customer support 24/7 and On-Call rotation.
• Collaborate with software developers and DevOps teams to integrate VDI systems with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring systems, or application delivery frameworks.
• Hands-on experience developing custom tools, dashboards, or REST APIs to support virtual desktop infrastructure. Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git), and experience collaborating using modern development practices.Experience integrating with CI/CD pipelines or infrastructure automation platforms (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins)

• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base within a territory of enterprise and PUB accounts.
• Identify and qualify new business opportunities through research, networking, and prospecting.
• Present and demonstrate our range of Client and End User Solutions and IT services to potential clients, highlighting the value and benefits of our solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within the assigned customer/prospect base.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including the extended sales team, marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure a seamless customer experience.

• Negotiate and close sales agreements, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for both the client and the company.
• Demonstrate an ability to create business value and deliver financial justifications that further account growth.
• Stay up to date with PC industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to effectively position our offerings.
• Possess technical aptitude and a technical product understanding to insure credibility with executives and technical evaluators.
• Develop and execute a sales strategy to positively impact revenue through direct sales and channel partnerships.
• Strong communication, collaboration, negotiation and executive presentation skills and the ability to provide insight and thought leadership to senior/CIO/CXO leadership and next two levels down.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced ambitious environment
Desirable Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in technology sales, with a focus on PCs and IT services. Proven track record of successfully selling to large enterprises and achieving sales targets.
