  • Support the European sales team in their sales efforts to the military end users in Europe
  • Manage, expand and grow Cognyte’s sales to the European military market
  • Carry out an in-depth market analysis of European EW & SIGINT manufacturers and market channels
  • Prepare and present a detailed go to market plan for targeted European countries, companies and channels
  • Implement and execute the plan towards rapid growth in Europe

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • At least 10 years of sales experience, closing high growth contracts in Europe
  • Proven experience selling to Tier 1 and Tier 2 defense and commercial system integrators in Europe
  • Ability to steer technical and commercial discussions,
  • Background in military SIGINT/EW – a major advantage
  • Background in military intelligence – a major advantage
  • BSc in SW / E. Engineering and MBA degree – Advantage

Description:

Traditional methods to prevent and investigate crime are no longer enough… Technology is evolving at an unprecedented pace. Those who engage in illicit activities know this and are taking advantage. As a, you will lead pre-sales activities in North America, including customer engagements, product demonstrations, RFP/RFI responses, technical evaluations, and Proof of Concept (POC) projects. You will collaborate with Account Executives and Product Management to drive new business and position the product as a critical tool for law enforcement and national security agencies.


As a Cognyter, you will:

  • Lead the pre-sales activities across North America, including customer engagements, technical presentations, and POCs.
  • Partner with Account Executives as a subject matter expert in data analytics and product`s capabilities.
  • Develop compelling product demonstrations.
  • Conduct product presentations and POCs for prospects, customers, and partners—virtually and in person.
  • Lead RFI/RFP responses, including requirements mapping, solution design, technical Q&A, and solution sizing.
  • Communicate product’s technical capabilities and collaborate with engineering, marketing, product, and senior leadership as needed.

For this mission, you’ll need:

  • Proven experience in a pre-sales role, leading technical sales processes and customer engagements.
  • Strong technical background, including expertise in relevant technologies and solution architectures.
  • 2–4 years of pre-sales experience (Analyst experience in LEA or NS organizations is a plus).
  • Familiarity with sales techniques and tools.
  • Experience with Linux, including command-line navigation and file system management.
  • Strong understanding of cloud architectures (compute, storage, networking) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (written & verbal).
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with a distributed team.
  • Fluent English (additional languages are a plus).
  • Ability to maintain a home office with a stable internet connection.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40%.
  • US citizen required.

For that mission you’ll need:

  • Sales experience (minimum 5 years) of SaaS solutions in the cybersecurity industry, including account management, account planning and pipe generation with enterprise organizations.
  • Experience selling SaaS solutions, with expertise in the threat intelligence, EASM, and DRP domains.
  • Comprehensive experience with both direct sales and indirect sales through integrators and partners, leveraging a strong network of relationships.
  • First-rate closing techniques with a proven history of high dollar sales success within the assigned territory and market segments.
  • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills with ability to interface with all levels of an organization.
  • Prior experience with reading and analyzing RFPs, preparing, writing, and submitting detailed responses designed to win business.
  • Fluency in English; other languages (e.g. Spanish) is an advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • The position requires frequent travel in the associated territory.
