The Data and Governance Product Lead for TTS Trade/Working Capital Solutions (TWCS) is a senior position and will be responsible for driving the internal data product and governance strategy for TWCS. The role will report to the TWCS Head of Data and help execute the vision for data product and data governance functions in alignment with the broader Citi’s Data Governance strategy.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the governance of end-to-end data architecture, meta data including maintaining of data catalogs, dictionaries and managing the critical data elements that cover the entire Trade business.
Collaborate closely with our business, operations and technology teams as well as partner with our internal Platform and Data Services team, Data Stewards and the extended Enterprise Data Governance teams.
Lead the development and maintenance of logical data models representing the business product functions across product processors data.
Lead development and maintenance of mappings between logical and physical data structures and ensure adherence to modeling standards and guidelines.
Identify the various consumption patterns and own the data marts creation to deliver business insights.
Lead and facilitate all aspects of the Enterprise Data Governance Strategy, Data Quality, Privacy and Reconciliation.
Develop approach and prioritization framework to define and track the prioritized scope of regulatory obligations.
Develop a roadmap delivery timeline view of regulatory obligations, and their associated governance steps for impacted Data Leadership.
Develop materials to effectively and concisely articulate progress on the data governance strategy for senior leadership and regulatory updates.
Establish appropriate measures to monitor and control effectiveness of information gathering and reporting.
Proactively take ownership of your team's functional activities, and training and be timely in the team's execution.
Qualifications:
degree; major in Computer Science, Business Analytics or similar preferred.
8+ years of related experience, including 5+ years' of hands-on data experience in the financial services industry preferred.
Data services domain expertise: including data governance, data architecture, big data, data warehousing, and working with data lakes.
Excellent communication skills and expertise in leading conversations with senior stakeholders, auditors and regulators.
Familiarity and experience with the implementation of Data Governance Policy and Standards.
Knowledge of Reconciliation systems, Quality Rules Management and Scorecards.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools such as JIRA or Asana.
Exposure to Data Governance tools such as Collibra or Alation will be a plus.
