    • Support product debug and test automation scripts using Python as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering.
    • Over 5 years of experience in electronics manufacturing and hardware testing, with a strong ability to debug, analyze, and identify root causes of manufacturing yield and test/hardware issues.
    • Extensive knowledge of both low and high-speed hardware protocols (I2C, SPI, SerDes) and programmable devices (FPGA, CPLD).
    • Expertise in statistical data analysis, enabling effective interpretation and utilization of data for informed decision-making.
    • Programming languages, with a preference for Python.

Preferred Qualifications:

    • Ability to multi-task and solve complex problems.

  • Supports Test Development Engineering and Data Analysis functions at the manufacturing sites including:
  • Analyze various sets of data for quality & process control
  • Develop analysis tools, dashboards and systems that help the manufacturing process to assist and expedite process improvement, test optimization and test code development.
  • Collaborate with product team to implement and deploy test strategies, test plans, and test processes for a group of products.
  • Perform product test coverage, optimization analysis.
  • Lead daily support of our products, systems, and tools in manufacturing.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering (BSEE), or Computer Engineering (BSCE), with 5+ years of experience in software development.
  • Validated expertise in software development, including design, debugging, and testing, with high proficiency in at least one major programming language such as Python, C++/C#, or Java.
  • Experience with Data Engineering, including ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and proficiency in SQL or big data platforms such as Hadoop, Snowflake, or Cloudera.
  • Familiarity with Web App Development, backend integration, containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and code repository management (e.g., GitHub, Bitbucket).
  • Strong communication written & verbal (in English and Spanish) to clearly synthesize and reduce complex situations on simple descriptions to communicate with internal and external partners.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to self-motivate with a strong desire to learn and ability to be flexible.

  • Supports test engineering functions at the manufacturing sites including:
  • Lead daily support of our products, systems, and tools in manufacturing.
  • Support New Product Introductions in manufacturing.
  • Support product transfers between manufacturing sites.
  • Analyze various sets of data for quality & process control.
  • Solve automation and product-related testing issues.
  • Collaborate with product team to implement and deploy test strategies, test plans, and test processes for a group of products.
  • Perform product test coverage, optimization analysis.
  • Troubleshoot test automation code at Manufacturing Partners.
  • Provides technical support for all systemic defects and Line stops/Purges/Quality issues.
  • Factory site technical quality metrics ownership and driving metrics improvement relating to testing.
  • Manufacturing test capacity management, asset, and budget planning and management.
  • Responsible for specifying, developing and/or procuring test equipment, test fixtures and test solutions.
  • Coordinates the delivery and assembly of test equipment.
  • Define/Guide debug process for test engineers in manufacturing sites.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Typically requires a BSEE or BSCE with 5+ years of Test Engineering experience at an electronics manufacturing industry or any other automated testing of hardware subject area.
  • Understanding of standard Design for Test (DFT) techniques and a basic understanding of Cisco or industry-standard test.
  • Strong programming knowledge – OOP and Python, Linux/Unix shell scripting. Layer 2/3 data networking experience and DB query experience (SQL, Cassandra, Impala, etc).

Failure analysis & Prevention Segment lead will drive the improvements in the accuracy of the fault duplication and isolation.

  • Experience with complex high speed board design and board bring-up.
  • Install/upgrade/downgrade Sonic operating system on 8000 products.
  • Provide direction and techniques on customer’s issues duplication and isolation.
  • Engage Design engineering and communicate finding and resolutions for HW and SW field issues.
  • Coordinate the Failure Analysis cases review meeting with Cisco teams and suppliers.
  • Defect detection including containment analysis.
  • Work closely with a cross functional team of Product Leads, Technical Leads and Customer Support to accelerate replicate customer reported issue.
  • Articulate key technical issues to stakeholders, sense issues early, identify impact and partner to drive resolution.
  • Ensure EMS partner’s deliver timely and accurate results in duplicating, isolating root cause of customer issues.
  • Drive innovation, new technology/processes.
  • Organize, plan, track and close-out design, components, manufacturing issues associated with the products.
  • Participate in initiatives to enhance existing test strategies, methodologies and test/diagnostic coverage for field returns to commit to improvements in the accuracy of the fault duplication and isolation.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s in electrical or computer engineering with 10+ years of related experience or Master's in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 7+ years of related experience

  • Hands on exposure to hardware and/or software testing, new product FA test strategy, test development/deployment.
  • Hands on experience on troubleshooting high complexity HW and ability to isolate to the defective component(s).
  • Ability to decode hardware-related error messages and trace messages to hardware component error checker.
  • Ability to simulate customer network failures and identify the failures in complex systems, subsystems, and components.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with high-speed SERDES (>=25G) system design, signal integrity issues, and power distribution techniques
  • Ability to collaborate with eCAD, FPGA, Power, Mechanical, Signal integrity, and Manufacturing teams.
  • Knowledge of Silicon one ASIC architecture.
  • Cisco certifications like CCNA is preferred
  • Familiarity with networking components such as PCIe switches, PHY, retimers.
