Description:

Lead country order fulfillment, inventory, 4PL, and distribution operations; ensure SLA compliance, budget alignment, process excellence, and regulatory adherence.

Key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for country order fulfillment activities and be the point of contact for order management matters.
  • Responsible for country inventory management, ensuring inventory plan is aligned with business plan.
  • Responsible for 4PL management, ensuring all warehousing and distribution activities meet the agreed SLA.
  • Responsible for managing country distribution expenses and ensure it is in line with the budget.
  • Collaborating with the cross functional team to support and meet the country inventory requirement.
  • Ensure the operational activities are following regulatory, quality, and financial policies.
  • Lead and drive regional and local initiatives to drive process excellence within the country.
  • Ensure distributor orders being fulfilled as per agreed service level.
  • Tracking backorders and provide fulfillment details to commercial team and business partners.
  • Maintain optimum inventory levels to meet the planned DIOH (Days Inventory on Hand) targets.
  • Reduction of slow moving or nonmoving inventory to reduce inventory reserves.
  • Demand and supply planning alignment with Regional Demand Planner in monthly Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) meeting.
  • Working with service providers for timely and accurate delivery of products.
  • Ensure 4PL warehouse and distribution activities are aligned with BSC Quality Agreement.
  • Drive process improvements to improve operational efficiencies

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Strong expertise in order fulfillment, inventory planning & management, and 4PL/warehouse operations.
  • Proficiency in demand & supply planning (SIOP) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to manage KPIs such as SLA performance, DIOH, and distribution costs.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to drive process improvements, ensure compliance (regulatory/quality/financial), and improve operational efficiency.
  • 5 years of supply chain operations experience, with at least 3–5 years in order fulfillment, inventory, or logistics leadership roles.
  • Proven track record in end-to-end supply chain management.
  • Strong background in cost control and budget management.
  • Hands-on experience working with 4PL providers and external logistics partners.
  • Knowledge of compliance, quality, and regulatory standards in supply chain.

Good to Have

  • Industry background in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare.
  • Experience in regional or global supply chain environments.
  • Exposure to digitalization and automation projects in logistics/fulfillment.

Service Delivery & Execution

  • Carry out essential commercial operations processes on behalf of Thailand commercial teams, in alignment with all applicable policies and Standard Operating Procedures (e.g. Tender Management policy). Core responsibilities include, but not limited to:
    • Represent Boston Scientific in dealings with the Bidding Agent and 4PL, and collaborate with both parties on all tender-related activities.
    • Prepare and submit the Pre-bidding Tender Checklist, ensuring all necessary pre-bid approvals and authorizations are obtained from relevant stakeholders.
    • Assist the Sales team in reviewing and verifying the completeness of tender documents based on the Tender Documents Checklist before submission.
    • Manage the flow of tender documents from the pre-bid phase through to the post-award stage, ensuring smooth handover from the Bidding Agent to the Sales Manager for centralized filing or depository.
    • Facilitate contract preparation, ensuring all documents are reviewed and approved by the Legal & Compliance team.
    • Coordinate with the Sales team and 4PL regarding the movement of Capital Equipment.
    • Collaborate with the Accounting and Supply Chain teams to reconcile capital equipment records, ensuring alignment between physical inventory, financial data, and system records.
    • Enhance visibility and transparency by conducting post-evaluation and placement analysis, as well as tracking revenue trends from capital equipment (rental/floater)
    • Support the Sales team in coordinating with the Global Commercial Services team to manage and maintain master data (e.g., pricing, customer information).
  • Ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and quality standards for all assigned tasks.
  • Support the development and maintenance of process documentation, templates, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Collaborate with country and area commercial teams to provide timely, accurate, and efficient support.
  • Commercial Analytics & Reporting (Example: Win-loss analysis, market mapping)
  • Generate and maintain regular commercial reports, dashboards, and business intelligence tools to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Perform data validation and accuracy checks to ensure high-quality reporting and analytics.
  • Identify trends, insights, and improvement opportunities within commercial data and processes.

Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement

  • Identify and recommend process automation, standardization, and efficiency improvements to enhance commercial operations.
  • Support the adoption of digital tools, AI-driven analytics, and automation solutions to improve service delivery.
  • Collaborate with process SMEs and global teams to harmonize workflows and best practices across APAC.

Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration

  • Work closely with country commercial and functional teams (including appointed third parties), APAC Commercial Excellence, Global Business Services (GBS), IT, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and alignment.
  • Support monthly reviews with commercial leaders to track process performance, identify bottlenecks, and discuss enhancement opportunities.
  • Act as a key point of contact for country teams, ensuring clear communication and responsive support.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in sales operations preferably in FMCG / Medical equipment / Pharmaceuticals company.
  • Performance oriented, analytical, and sharp minded
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and analytical abilities
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and BI. Familiarity with SAP is an advantage

Key Skills & Experiences:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering/ biomedical/ biomedical engineering or any medical-related field.

  • Experience and familiar with EP, CRM or cardiovascular technologies will be advantageous.
  • Sufficiency in English speaking is a must.
