You’ll be instrumental in the adoption of cutting-edge tools such as 3D Mapping and PFA systems, Radiofrequency Ablation catheters, Diagnostic Catheters, EP recording systems, and Intracardiac Access Sheaths, ensuring their safe and effective use.

Must Haves:

  • B.S. degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
  • 8+ years of experience in system architecture/design/delivery
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of business processes in a multinational environment Ability to analyze, optimize, and implement business processes, ensuring that technology solutions are designed to support and enhance end-to-end business workflows. Prioritize process improvement and operational excellence over a purely technology-first approach
  • Experience managing complex portfolios and leading change initiatives
  • Track record of driving innovation and continuous improvement
  • Strong negotiation/facilitation skills
  • Experience with complex RFQs and RFPs; experience as negotiator with vendors for relevant products and services
  • Able to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization

  • Hands-on approach with a willingness to get involved in project delivery and problem-solving
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

About the Role:

Developing and executing optimal Sourcing strategies, for all Indirect sourcing categories, through the selection, development and management of supplier relationships. Drive sourcing/supplier initiatives to meet overall requirements while implementing sustainable cost reduction & service improvements.

Indirect Sourcing Vision

  • Drives best practices in the site in support of becoming a World Class Sourcing Organizations
  • Strives to be a trusting, reliable, credible and insightful advisor to BSC stakeholders.
  • Committed to continuous improvement across Indirect Sourcing processes.
  • Provides strategic influence while building value-adding relationships with key suppliers and internal customer groups by applying advanced knowledge of purchasing principles, practices, tools and technology.
  • Identifies and works closely with requestors, Sourcing Specialist, and Sourcing Manager, Global Sourcing and individuals from other divisions/plants and countries/regions to identifying and executing Cost Reduction opportunities.
  • Optimize the sourcing and procurement processes. They will benchmark best practices externally & internally and apply Lean concepts, supported by analytics, to design and implement optimally effective processes.

Indirect Spend Excellence & Strategic Sourcing

  • Collaborates with the site to identify spend reduction opportunities with Indirect Suppliers
  • Develops and leads the implementation of sourcing strategies for the site.
  • Works closely with stakeholders to conduct sourcing processes & RFPs according to BSC policies.
  • Ensures stakeholders and suppliers comply with BSC sourcing procedures and policies.
  • Optimizes sourcing processes with the use of E-Sourcing and Reverse Auctions Tools.
  • Leverages spend within assign region and Global Team sourcing for BSC.
  • Develop and lead the implemented of Procurement & Sourcing Strategies, resulting in a strong supply base that continuously creates a sustainable competitive advantage.

Indirect Supply Management

  • Ensure contract management tools are used that will drive best in class supply management processes with Indirect suppliers.
  • Segments indirect suppliers into strategic, preferred and standard suppliers.
  • Develops, implements and manages processes for supply-related problem resolution.
  • Develop Annual Sourcing Business Plans that will reflect year-over-year cost reductions, quality enhancements and overall continuous improvement.
  • Reviews, assesses and maintains a base line costing model for the key spend items in each commodity that is aligned with the strategic direction of the function or commodity and continually identifies and refreshes the model based on market dynamics.
  • Supports the creation, approval, and implementation of new company-wide policies. Works with Management to implement trending, monitoring and enforcement mechanisms.
  • Leads contract negotiations, contract management, and vendor management activities such as actionable business reviews with preferred and strategic Indirect suppliers at the site.

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Economy, Foreign trade, International Relations, Engineering, or related field.
  • Advanced/Fluent English and Spanish Level required.
  • Experience: At least 5 years in Strategic Sourcing / Procurement.
  • Technical Competencies: Strategic Sourcing Methodology, Excel Advance, SAP / Ariba, Power Point is desired.
  • Communicative, flexibility, resilience, self-management, leadership are behaviors appreciated.
