Who we seek:

We’re looking for a GRC Intern to join our GRC team. Our team supports the organization’s security and compliance initiatives by assessing risk, ensuring regulatory compliance, and improving security governance. As a GRC Intern, you will assist with projects related to risk assessments, policy development, compliance audits, and security governance. This role is designed for individuals interested in growing their knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, regulatory requirements, and risk management principles. Our ideal candidate is someone eager to learn, detail-oriented, and interested in developing foundational skills in GRC. You will have the opportunity to support compliance initiatives, conduct research on security best practices, and help improve GRC processes.

What you’ll do:

• Assist in maintaining security compliance and risk management documentation including policies, standards, and processes
• Assist in maintaining compliance programs for key certifications such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI, and support external audits to maintain security certifications
• Assist in optimizing the use and optimization of Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) tools such as Whistic, Anecdotes, Confluence, and Jira to drive effective security governance
• Assist in enforcing security policies and procedures based on industry standards, ensuring compliance across teams
• Assist in managing our third-party portfolio to ensure their compliance with BigID’s security standards
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

What you’ll bring:

• Meets one or more of the following requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program
  • Currently enrolled in a technical or certificate program
  • Preferred education in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field with strong academic performance
• Knowledge of GRC frameworks, regulations, and standards, including but not limited to NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, and GDPR, preferred
• Familiarity with risk management principles, compliance assessments, and audit processes preferred
• Understanding of security and compliance best practices across cloud environments
• Detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and quickly apply new concepts to accomplish assignments
• Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills
• Previous experience through work or internship preferred

We're looking for a Customer Success Specialist Intern to join our customer success team. Ideal candidates for this position have interest in the data domain and relish the challenge of navigating through complex organizational dynamics. A successful candidate will have a penchant for identifying challenges and opportunities early and feel comfortable leading the effort to great results. This role reports to the Sr. Director, Customer Success.

What you’ll do:

• Operations:
• Performs budgetary and proprietary account analysis, identifies, and researches the root causes of discrepancies, and proposes recommended resolutions
• Collects data from various systems, organizes data into spreadsheets and develops reports
• Collaborate on various improvement projects for the sales operation team

• Customer Success
• Deploy Standardized Engagement Models: Deploy standardized engagement models across customer assignments, ensuring clarity for both customers and internal teams.
• Promote Process & Best Practice Optimizations: Promote best practices, deploy playbooks, and processes to ensure consistency and scalability of BigID offerings.
• Customer Retention & Growth: Partners with customers to understand their business objectives, identifying opportunities and aligning BigID products and services to agreed-upon customer outcomes and account priorities. Leverages an understanding of the customer's needs and business objectives to identify opportunities where BigID can provide added value to maximize retention and minimize churn.
• Customer Relationship Management: Develops, maintains, and builds upon foundational relationships with key customer stakeholders and technical professionals to enable quality solution delivery and health, using partnerships with other account team leaders leading orchestration across internal/external stakeholders. Develops a trusted advisory role with customers, communicating upcoming product changes, enhancements, and serving as an internal voice of the customer.
• Risk Mitigation: Proactively identifies, monitors, and mitigates actual and potential blockers related to contract entitlements and mobilizes resources to address actual and potential blockers to ensure delivery of key outcomes related to customer retention and growth.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborates partnership between the Customer Success team and internal teams to drive synergies and optimize client outcomes.

• Interest in Business Administration/ Operation functions such as Customer Success/ Sale Operations/ Account Management
• Interest and studies related data management, data privacy, data governance, or information security would be helpful

What You’ll Do:

• Support the SDR organization in optimizing its core engagement platform Outreach.io, inventorying, analyzing, and updating its catalog of messaging
• Liaise with marketing to ensure we have new templates and sequences prepared for events and campaigns
• Collect feedback from SDRs on messaging needs and assist in implementing requests
• Help with prospecting projects leading up to events
• Assist with post-event lead assignments
• Support dissemination of knowledge of products, competitors, and market trends to the SDR team via educational sessions, updates to the SDR playbook, and development of SDR centric one-pagers on relevant competitors and market trends
• Create final presentation around messaging best practices, most successful campaigns, sequences, templates
