  • Have strong low level programming and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrate passion and communicate clearly.
  • Have a strong desire to extend both the depth and breadth of their expertise.
Qualities that will help your application stand out:
  • Deep Learning and/or generative AI (LLMs) and/or Robotics.
  • Complex systems and algorithms.
  • Architecture performance analysis/optimisation using cycle accurate modelling.
  • Digital Signal Processing and/or Computer Vision.
  • Vector processing and parallel programming.
  • Assembly language, ideally Arm.
  • Software/Hardware interface (e.g. device driver, operating system, or compiler development)
  • Arm architecture fundamentals.

  • Comfortable working in Linux-based development environments
  • Good English interpersonal skills

Meeting Area, Frequency and Power requirements are some of the most meaningful activities in CPU development. We work closely with micro-architecture designers and standards cells/Macro designers to build and improve metrics and quality of designs, targeting 3nm and below technology nodes.

As member of the CPU implementation team, you will work to identify critical paths and timing bottlenecks across IP development, enabling accurate trade-off between the various performance metrics of the designs (frequency, IPC, power, area).

Are recently graduated, or soon to graduate from a University or Engineering School, in Electronic Engineering or Computer Science. A prior internship in a similar field would be beneficial. We are also looking for:

  • Exposure to synthesis/clock tree, place and route tools and techniques
  • Understanding of Power versus Performance versus Area tradeoff in typical CMOS design
  • Exposure to CPU micro-architecture concepts (cache, MMU, pipeline…)
Qualities that will help your application stand out:
  • Good interpersonal skills

  • Write/Extract performance tests out of existing SW applications and run it on C/C++ models, emulators or real devices (Laptops, Smartphones, Servers…) on various operating systems.
  • Work alongside with modelling engineers, CPU design teams and Arm Architecture group.
  • Drive technical activities.
  • Collaborate with Business teams and partners to present technical results.


Required Skills and Experience :

  • You graduated from a university or Engineering School, in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electronic / Electrical Engineering, or other related science
  • You have bare minimum of several years of either software, hardware, or mathematic experience.
  • You have some a proven experience in SW programming alongside with technical management

Interns will develop scripts, tools, models and testbenches using various programming languages, such as UVM, SystemVerilog, C, C++ and Python.
