Responsibilities

• Define product vision to improve manufacturing and supply chain agility, optimize factory planning, and serve as an input into strategic decisions.

Desired Qualifications

About the Role

Design & Development

• Create and configure collaborative robot (Cobot) solutions for assembly, disassembly, and inspection of complex modules (e.g., CMP heads, vacuum robots, RF Matches, Electrostatic chucks).
• Customize robotic arm setups and end-of-arm tooling for diverse applications.
• Design and develop scalable, reliable, and maintainable software solutions

Automation & Integration

• Implement automated parts cleaning and optical inspection systems.
• Develop machine vision and AI-driven inspection for in-process QA.
• Conduct feasibility studies, prototyping, and validation testing.

Collaboration

• Partner with engineering, operations, and IT teams to integrate automation systems.
• Coordinate with external vendors for solution development and deployment.

Education

As an RVC (Reverse Value Chain) Project Manager, you will be responsible for supporting & driving projects & programs which are highly cross-collaborative in nature & are directly associated with optimizing our repair parts operational processes to drive increased repair part utilization.

These projects are intended to drive continuous improvement into our repair operations processes which touch several cross-functional stakeholders within Applied Materials global organization. The primary focus of this job will be to manage projects that implement automation in DDP manufacturing that reduces cost, SLH, cycle time, and quality defects.
