Description:
In this capacity, you will partner with leaders as well as a diverse set of team members to build and deliver AI-powered software initiatives according to Apple’s high standards. You will be responsible for cross-functional alignment, project planning, tracking, execution, and reporting, while also overseeing service qualification, deployment, and operations. You will proactively identify, prioritize, and drive the resolution of program issues by communicating new feature initiatives, top issues, risks, and critical achievements to executive leadership. - Create and maintain detailed project plans, schedule, and status documentation - Bring together and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholder groups. - Serve as a liaison to communicate information regarding requirements, changes, milestones reached, and other pertinent information. - Present and communicate new feature initiatives, top issues, risks, and critical achievements to executive leadership. - Drive focus to critical path deliverables and track execution of dependencies. - Proactively identify risks to software delivery, develop mitigation strategies, and facilitate resolutions.
  • At least 3-5 years experience in software project/product management
  • Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of software engineering standard methodologies and related dependencies
  • Strong leadership skills including the ability to build positive relationships and influence others
  • Excellent spoken and written communication to tailor communication style to multiple audiences
  • Organization and multi-tasking skills with phenomenal attention to detail
  • Experience shipping ML-powered products
  • Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle

Joining Apple as an Embedded Software Engineer for SoC Factory Support, you will craft and implement embedded software for System on a Chip (SoC) bring up and test. You will write software for Apple silicon in a production boot loader environment. You will work closely with the Product Engineering teams to bring up new silicon on device and ensure the SoC quality when manufactured.
- Design and implementation of firmware for SoC bring up, validation, and test. - Identify, analyze and root-cause SoC failures in the factory.- Enhance and maintain the development and debug environments, tools and methodologies. - Support of functional test environment for device characterization, failure analysis, and mass production. - Generate post-silicon directed diagnostic and stress test cases and debugging failure cases using multiple HW and low level SW platforms. - Use of soft skills and data driven approach to effectively collaborate and participate in multi-team discussions and decision-making.
  • BS with minimum of 3 years of software development/validation experience
