- Designing new product experiences and new features in existing technical products.- Collaborating with software engineers to build and review highly refined user interfaces.- Collecting and iterating on feedback from stakeholders, including senior leadership across Apple.- Understanding and advocating for technical users & software developers. Note: this role does not require direct software development experience, but does require an ability to empathize with developers of all skill levels.
- Bachelors degree in UX design related field or 3 years of equivalent work experience.
- Demonstrated ability to express ideas visually, give and receive feedback, and iterate on designs.
- A design portfolio showcasing a high degree of attention to detail.
- 5 years of experience designing software products.
- Experience working on apps that ship to the app store.
- Strong familiarity with Apple’s platforms and the Human Interface Guidelines.
- Experience managing expectations and driving projects with limited oversight while maintaining a clear feedback loop with leadership.
